Yeah, that's what all new builds are like
I've even had posters arguing with me on here that it can't be an insulation problem because then the flat wouldn't get hot. Both my current and previous flat were new/relatively modern. I had extensive discussions with the management company in my previous one. They were lovely helpful people and explaining how the building worked saved me a fortune in trying out temporary stuff or window coverings, etc and just going straight for an aircon unit
Mine is very old and I bought it in winter so I'm mostly hoping it survives this attack.
But yeah, once you look at the mechanics of how the place has actually been built, it makes perfect sense that it's always hot. I don't know why people who don't have this experience are so determined to argue about it.
if you are in a house and you can have a air-conditioning fitted, it's an absolute no brainer. My aircon unit gets used for weeks on end every year. If it's 25 outside, it will be much hotter inside.
I've just had another "race against time" with my ice lolly 😂
