Heard on the radio this evening that the highest recording today was Kew Gardens at 34 . Highest May since 2016 .

I thought it was the highest ever May temperature, beating a record previously set in 1922?

It's been 31 degrees in Chester and I absolutely love it. I suffer with depression and the hot, sunny weather really gives me a lift. Unfortunately, looking at the forecast, it's changing in a couple of days 😕

Back in the 90s my godmother visited Death Valley and she's wearing a cardigan in the photos! But she was a retired ballet dancer/teacher with not an ounce of fat on her tiny frame.

30 degrees in my bedroom now (still cooler
than outside). Thinking about sleeping downstairs for the next couple of nights as it’s not getting cold enough at night to cool the rooms down even with a fan at the window.

I do love the heat outside but when it’s stifling inside I don’t like it. We’ve just decided to add an aircon system to our extension which is under way, as it’s only going to keep getting hotter each year.
