Her theory is I can’t be 100% straight cos I picked the woman. I think it’s bollocks. I’d enjoy neither but the man would gross me out way more

On the premise that it HAS to be one or the other, I would choose the man, because I'm not sexually attracted to women as a sex class.

Well I’m monogamous so it’s beyond the realms of what I’d do even if they were both gorgeous. I think if you’ve never felt the slightest desire for a woman then it’s unlikely you are “a little bit attracted to women really”.

If the man was medium ugly/ugly hot and had good hygiene I would go with him. If he was repulsively ugly and stank, I would go with the beautiful woman.

I have actually sort of spoken about this scenario with my husband - there’s a not unattractive dad on the school run, but I know how he has treated his nanny and I’ve seen him be a grade A competitive psycho on the school quiz, so he absolutely makes my skin crawl every time he gives me a phoney nice guy smile. It’s just real American psycho vibes. I have said to my husband that probably I’d rather shag an attractive woman than that guy if I was stranded somewhere for long enough that sexual companionship became important to me (I imagine in practise that I’d just abstain, but I guess who knows), so maybe I’m not 100 per cent straight!

Obviously all this assumes a very extreme set of circumstances in which I didn’t have a husband either - I can’t imagine a circumstance in which I would cheat on him, man or woman
