I’d like to see Andy Burnham as an MP

Why? Not your politics as I understand it from this thread and others.

Bless him , he thinks he’s just delivered a blinder

Starmer is a patronising greedy entitled elitist who has no idea how to speak to ordinary people, who has only contempt for women and people who can't do paid work for good reasons, no wonder so many people hate him. He pretends not to know what a woman is, in spite of being married to one who gave birth to his children, and he ruthlessly punishes any woman who dares stand up to him and argue. He is the epitome of the mediocre male who just kept on failing up.

Let's just take a look at the actual make up of councils across the country today

The left screams that everyone is racist unless they want open borders, pretends that men are women and nukes their own economy through high taxation and spending on the workshy to stay at home.

It's now literally a movement for very stupid and gullible people.

Don't be sucked in!

You were on MN yesterday berating others for generalising about groups and calling people stupid.

Not really a fair outlook as not all seats were up for grabs and many areas were even denied a vote .

I will refer you back to Fast800 at 1258 - with a spot on comment.

Nothing to do with fair, nor is it an "outlook". It's the actual position at today's date.

Let's see how those people elected as councillors actually perform once they're working in local government shall we?

No one has been "denied a vote". You're making it up now! The UK is a democracy, we just don't all vote in council elections at the same time.

It’s everything to do with fair , I only got my vote because reform was going to take labour to court for illegally denying us our election.

‘Priority for social services should be given to existing UK residents over immigrants’.

Your thoughts please.

I am sure you will lay into me for this, but that's too broad a statement in my view. In the main, the answer should be yes, but essentially it should (for ALL) come down to careful evaluation of individual circumstances, context and the aim of the particular social service intervention.

I will not lay in to you, but - right there - is one reason, why a significant number of people voted for Reform last week.

Maybe he's going to play the guitar instead of Francis Rossi.

What’s the issue with the op saying thanks

The issue is that he/she never responds to fully explain anything he/she has posted beyond a sound bite. I didn't realise what was meant by his/her previous posts, which was why I asked for an explanation. I'm only using he/she as I don't want to make an assumption. If the poster is non binary I apologise.

Ok but it’s part of mn that others can explain what is meant.

I could respond but it’s exhausting talking to people on the left because they refuse to even try to hear what we are saying

And this whole non binary belief is another reason why we can not discuss anything..

The circumstances are simply thus.... UK citizens first.
We do not have unlimited funds... clearly, a blind man can see the state of the economy. Why should UK citizens take second place?
