Do you believe the Michael Jackson allegations?

For me it’s undeniable and the evidence is overwhelming, but I’m shocked by the amount of people who don’t.

So it’s okay he was on drugs unstable and completely unfit to be a parent because he had a stressful life?

TheJoySpreader · 16/05/2026 09:39

No of course not but this thread is about the allegations of sexual abuse and I don’t believe them

TheJoySpreader · 16/05/2026 09:41

When people are dysfunctional it’s helpful to understand ‘why’, not just tar them as pedos and dismiss everything else

MyTrivia · 16/05/2026 09:59

@TheJoySpreader why would he buy a wedding ring for a child unless he was twisted? Have you heard the tape of him talking to Jimmy Safechuck on the phone when he was about 10? Honestly, when I heard that I felt sick. It was like listening to one sexually obsessed lover talking to another. My stomach really turned and it was from here that I could never go back to thinking he may have been innocent. Jimmy Safechuck has said that MJ bought him the wedding ring and they had a ceremony because the poor kid was getting older and felt anxious that he was about to be replaced.

It’s heartbreaking on many levels.

everyoldsock · 16/05/2026 10:35

There’s no proof of Jackson buying a ring for Safechuck.

MyTrivia · 16/05/2026 10:52

Yes there is. This was an expensive jewellery shop and there is a video of MJ going in with JS and buying him the ring. He also still has this ring.

MyTrivia · 16/05/2026 10:54

It is interesting to me that the Jackson estate found a loophole to remove LN from streaming. They clearly can see how damning the evidence is.

Video? First I've heard.

likelysuspect · 16/05/2026 11:03

AI says this, I havent checked it out

Footage of Michael Jackson ring shopping with James Safechuck comes from a 1989 surveillance video. The clip features Jackson in a disguise at a Zales jewelry store in Simi Valley, California, where store security initially called the police over the suspicious outfit.
The surveillance footage was released to the public in March 2019 following the release of the HBO documentary Leaving Neverland, in which Safechuck alleged the ring was an engagement/wedding ring given to him by Jackson during a "mock wedding".
You can watch the archive news coverage and security footage of this incident on platforms like YouTube.

No, there isn’t. Link me to a video where Jackson buys a ring for Safechuck.

Oh wait, you won’t be able to.

Yep. I'm sure if it was true it would have been all over the news in during the court case. Been a fan since Thriller and I'd never heard of this.

It’s on ‘Leaving Neverland’. Keep burying your head in the sand if you like.

Jackson’s estate found a loophole to remove LN from streaming services which itself shows how incriminating it actually is. I assume you didn’t watch it. It was certainly the turning point for me to know for sure MJ was a pedophile.

everyoldsock · 16/05/2026 11:39

The video is of them looking at rings in a store.

Yes and it was verified that they were looking for wedding rings. The video below is from LN. JS still has the ring which is demonstrably a child’s size. In this video he talks about it. You’d have to be delusional to think he’s making it up.

TheJoySpreader · 16/05/2026 11:46

Leaving Neverland was the biggest money grab on record, full of absolute bullshit fabricated and acted out by absolute grifters on the make, hence why the Jackson family have been able to get it taken down, it cannot be used as actual evidence.

MyTrivia · 16/05/2026 11:49

Did you actually watch it?

AutumnLover1990 · 16/05/2026 11:49

MyTrivia · 16/05/2026 11:44

Not watching anything he has to say. Scammer.

That's convenient 🙄😬🤦‍♂️ No actual "evidence" then 🙄

The reason it was removed has absolutely nothing to do with it being untrue. This is what I found from Rolling Stones. They say, however that there is a way to watch it, still.

Yes and like I say, I believed it at the time, I wasn't especially a fan at that point and I took it all in and hated Jackson for a few years, just like you do.

More fool me, because so much of it has been disproved and so many lies have been uncovered in it that the scales fell from my eyes and I realised how easy it was to fool people if you've set your mind to it. Yes I fell for it and I admit that, but I'm truly sorry I ever did now.

Edited

Or maybe you’re scared that he’s believable (which he is). I was convinced by it. Because I’m not scared of the truth.

No predator should have apologists unwilling to accept compelling evidence against them - you are helping to silence victims by your actions and attitude . Him being dead doesn’t alter this.

it’s also interesting that there is a voice recording of Latoya specifically mentioning Jimmy Safechuck sleeping in MJ’s bed and saying how her mother was complaining about it. This was many years before anyone was aware of JS or his allegations.

What has been disproved? If you mean specific places then it’s not really surprising that people would misremember things after 40 years is it? That doesn’t mean that the abuse didn’t happen.

JS in particular seems to be a man in pain.
