What are your favourite naice soft drinks?

I don't drink alcohol but I do like having something naice to drink if I'm sitting out in the sun.
Something a bit more interesting than plain old coca-cola/fanta etc.

I quite like elderflower cordial with sparkling water, or soda and lime but would like some suggestions of something new to try!

I really dislike the taste of artificial sweeteners so tend to avoid any diet or "light" versions. I used to love Ginger Ale but it's impossible to find one that hasn't had all the sugar replaced with sweeteners.

I think a tonic on its own (with ice and lemon) hits almost the same spot as a G&T

elliejjtiny · 04/05/2026 18:42

Lidl orange juice with lemonade
Robinsons fruit creations

Wallywobbles · 04/05/2026 18:48

Tonic. Posh tonics even better.

Fever Tree lemon tonic tastes like bitter lemon. As you can't buy any bitter lemon any more that doesn't contain sweetener, this is very welcome

StrictlyAFemaleFemale · 04/05/2026 19:14

Ooh I like an elderflower pressé, or appletizer.

TheCurious0range · 04/05/2026 19:16

Some of the non alcoholic spirits are very good, I had a very nice non alcoholic mojito last week (I was driving) using a non-alc rum. I've also had a very nice non-alcoholic spicy margarita at a restaurant using non-alc tequila.

WaneyEdge · 04/05/2026 19:22

Fevertree drinks have no sweetener.

Mr Fitzpatricks, can be found in farm shops or Booths (the only supermarket they are stocked in). You can order online; mix the rhubarb & rosehip with the cream soda cordial, top with sparkling water and it’s like rhubarb & custard in a glass.

Teissere cordials (from Frenchclick) also do full sugar cordials.

Lowicz, in Polish supermarkets are sweetener-free.

Boylan (if you can find it) are full sugar.

Jones are too.

I’m obsessed with Teisseire zero. A thick cordial I’ve been getting from Sainsbury’s. I love the grenadine one but the elderflower is lovely too. It’s about £4 and you get loads of of glasses out of it

Edited

They're full of artificial sweeteners

The zero version has sweetener though. OP said they didn’t want drinks with sweeteners.

Rochester ginger with tonic over ice is good - you can get it from Holland and Barrett amongst other places and it’s got quite a kick.
i also like Morrisons peach barley with fizzy water, which I read some restaurant bar person saying was their favourite soft drink so tried and it’s nice. Pretty sure it has sweeteners in though, but doesn’t taste as bad as a lot of sweetener drinks…
i also had a really nice pink grapefruit tonic once, but ive not been able to find it so just have tonic and pink grapefruit juice, which is quite nice.

mamaduckbone · 04/05/2026 19:29

I quite like a fancy flavoured tonic - Fever tree elderflower is good - or Bottlegreen cordials

OneBusyFinch · 04/05/2026 19:43

I like the tonic waters that pp’s have mentioned.

also really enjoy fentiman’s dandelion and burdock

sausagerollsarecool · 04/05/2026 19:46

Dash sparkling waters and Karma soft drinks are my go-to (cherry and lemon are my favs, but orange is also great - no sweeteners!). I also like to make an alcohol free hugo spritz.

sausagerollsarecool · 04/05/2026 19:47

Forgot about Dalstons drinks. Love the rhubarb, cherry and pineapple ones.

OMGitsnotgood · 04/05/2026 19:47

Pineapple juice with ginger ale and a sprig of mint is way nicer than it sounds!

UnderThePressure · 04/05/2026 19:49

Trip do a really nice Elderflower and Mint variety.

Fentimans now have sweetener too. I miss their ginger beer and muddled lime. 😢

Hostile17Lover · 04/05/2026 19:50

Fentiman’s Rose Lemonade. Their Dandelion and Burdock is good too.

Unexpectedlysinglemum · 04/05/2026 19:54

Tripp drinks

asdbaybeeee · 04/05/2026 19:57

I love root beer but it’s very sweet. Robbinsons lime and mint cordial is lovely

maudelovesharold · 04/05/2026 19:59

Crabbie’s non-alcoholic ginger beer.

MarmaladeSandwich7 · 04/05/2026 20:00

Hate the word “ naice”!

AllyMacbealmyarse · 04/05/2026 20:10

Dalstons sodas are great. Or if you are looking for a mocktail try Wilfred’s non alcoholic aperitif with tonic and soda or any the drinks kitchen range with tonic ( the grapefruit one is mouthwatering).

horlickstablets · 04/05/2026 20:11

Cawston press are good
