Should I apologise to my previous hairdresser and ask to return?

I fell out with my hairdrer because I thought I had reacted to her hair dye. It wasn't the hair dye, it was shingles. The hairdresser was upset and got rid of me. I went somewhere else and the new hairdresser coloured it too dark and I dont like it. I showed her a photo of what it looked like from the previous salon and she said she couldn't tell the colour as it was a photo. She kept insisting my hair was dark brown so I need dark brown dye. When I went to my previous salon I had had it coloured elsewhere and I was told it was too dark so she lightened it slightly and I was pleased with it. Now I've gone back to the too dark shade at the new salon.

I want to return to my previous salon to show them how dark it is and get their opinion and im sure they will agree that it's too dark.

All I can do is call and apologise and hope the hairdresser will take me back. The new salon is more expensive and £30 more for a colour and blow dry. The only good thing is the new salon is 15 minutes walk from home whereas the pre house salon is a 15 minute journey by public transport and then a 10 minute ute walk to the salon

Do, you can recongnise rude behaviour. Just not, apparently, when it’s you.

True

Ok so if you think it's not respectful for friends to say i am ND then why do people on here think it's OK to tell me I am ND. I mentioned the photos to show people what a nasty person j was dealing with.

No, I said it wouldn’t be ‘not respectful’ if they had. Why would it have anything do with ‘respect’? If a close longtime friend who knew something about autism in women, or had herself been diagnosed in adulthood suggested I might meet diagnostic criteria, I’d probably take it seriously. I certainly wouldn’t see it as some kind of slur.

It’s not clear what point you’re trying to make re the holiday photos. What photos had you actually sent her, if not of the town you’d holidayed in?

I just sent photos of the town I spent the holiday in because thats what she asked to see. Then I said I sent photos of the town as you asked so now you can see what the town looks like. Then she said she was no longer interested in them. I found that odd. I then said, why did you ask to see them? And she said, I don't want to hear about your holiday anymore, so that's it, I don't want to have her in my life, if she's gonna behave like that. And people , and here telling me that i'm strang 🙄

Your previous post said you’d sent her holiday photos and she’d said no, she wanted to see photos of the place you’d been on holiday in — which suggested that’s not what you’d sent her first time around…?

I don’t know, OP, you seem to fall out with people all the time, often over absolute trifles.
