If this is similar to the dinner party where you can invite both living or dead people:

David Mitchell
Sean Locke
Sarah Millican
Trevor Noah

JazzyAmbs · 16/04/2026 19:16

Harry Enfield, Chris Rock, Robert Webb. and maybe throw a new one in like NoHun just because he’s so raw around the edges I think he’d make some of the others squirm! Years ago I would have said Lenny Henry but I don’t find him funny any more and I don’t think he wants to be!

Terriblytwee · 16/04/2026 19:17

Matt Berry
Eric Morcombe

Really hard to narrow down to four but I think I would choose

Julian Clary
Romesh Ranganathan
Mel Geidroyc
and one of Alan Carr, Bob Mortimer or David Mitchell

Arlanymor · 16/04/2026 19:19

Four isn't enough!

Bob Mortimer
Ricky Gervais
Melissa McCarthy
French and Saunders (yes I know it's five but my dining table seats six including me!)

Waitingfordoggo · 16/04/2026 19:19

Bob Mortimer
Ricky Gervais (I don’t think he’d necessarily make me laugh loads as I prefer his writing to his stand-up, but I think he’d be an interesting conversationalist)
The late, great Sean Lock and Rik Mayall.

SunnieShine · 16/04/2026 19:19
