Mel Geidroych
Julian clary (is he a comedian?)
jennifer Saunders

I saw Julian Clarey live in a London pub's upstairs room in the late 1980s! He was The Joan Collins Fan Club back then with Fanny the Wonder Dog, and I think I remember him doing his rendition of Leader of the Pack - I was too pissed busy laughing to know what was going on. He was brilliant.

I would love to have Jerry Sadowitz but he's pretty antisocial I think so don't think he would be much use or stay long.

It seems a bit mean as DP is an ex comic and I've not invited him. But I can have dinner with him anytime

RS1987 · 16/04/2026 19:29

Grace Campbell
Joanne McNally
Alice Brine

Sad I can only have 4 because if I could add Christopher Hall I would!!

DrDonaldTrump · 16/04/2026 19:30

Robin Williams, if he counts.
George Carlin
Jack Dee
Tony Slattery
Sarah Keyworth
Sorry, can't count!
Stewart Lee and Richard Herring if I am allowed two more (plus three of mine have passed).

Caroline Aherne
Matt Berry

As a PP above I could think of loads of different foursomes but that will do for now.

Littlepurpleinsect · 16/04/2026 19:34

I didn’t realise we could have dead people

Linda Smith
Richard Ayodayo ( can’t spell)
Graham Lineham
Ricky Gervais

Is my alternative list

But then I’d also like that bloke who played Fletcher in Porridge and Eric Morecombe. And maybe Bob Monkhouse. Maybe I should have a modern comedian list and a vintage list.

BeaLola · 16/04/2026 19:35

Bob Mortimer
David Mitchell
Sarah Millican
Jo Brand

ConnieHeart · 16/04/2026 19:35

Oh and if one of mine couldn't make it, Michael McIntyre

Aargh. Just seen Jack Dee. May have to replace Linda with Jack.

And my list of comedians who used to make me laugh so much, I thought I might die, but can now barely look at:

Woody Allen
Michael Richards
Eddie Izzard
Frankie Boyle

The Two Ronnies
Morecombe and Wise

MyThreeWords · 16/04/2026 19:42

John Finnemore (because he is just so nice)
Victoria Wood (though I suspect she wouldn't go out of her way to be alovely guest -- too self-sufficient for that)
Vicky Pepperdine (because her Hudson and Pepperdine Show is sooo funny and never seemed to get as much praise as it deserved)
The Pin (I know they are two people but they could share a seat)

ZookeeperSE · 16/04/2026 19:42

And because I did male comedians, then female comedians:

Victoria Wood
Wanda Sykes
Gilda Radner
Lil Wenker (specifically as Bangtail - one of the funniest acts I have ever seen on stage, so much so, my DH genuinely thought I might need assistance as I seemed to be unable to breath)
