A backscratcher!!

One of those headbands that gives the same effect as wearing sunglasses on your head

A soft headband with blue tooth earphones built in.

A couple of years back I got an Oodie for Christmas. It wasn't one of the proper branded Oodies in the velour finish with a funky pattern on it, just a cheaper version in a lightweight fluffy fleece material. At the time I thought 'hmm..ok, might be useful, we'll see.'

Oh my God I absolutely LIVE in that thing. My dressing gown hasn't seen the light of day since. Even when I am fully dressed, if it's cold in the house I'll stick it on over my clothes so I don't need to put the heating on.

A chicken egg, still warm from the coop - bought in from a student one morning from her chickens at home 🐣

A pair of lambswool bed socks. I absolutely love them.

I wouldn't class a heated blanket as a "small" present...just a normal one 😂

Alphabet1spaghetti2 · 12/04/2026 18:06

Talcum powder - a pack of three small tins. Makes me feel good.

My TENs machine. First one was bought for me on an extreme pain Sunday when I was out of pain meds and crippled in bed. I was very sceptical but it has been life changing.

I want one of these. Where do I find it? I often put sunglasses in my head just so my hair looks better

Personalised chopsticks!

A round mini hairbrush that flicks out of its mirrored case. About £1 a decade ago.
I’d be very happy with one of those calendars made of wooden cubes.

I'd like to know about the headband too :D

A rucksack that packs down really small and zips into its own front pocket. So it goes down into something that fits in your pocket but folds out to be really quite large and has straps to wear on your back.

My friend bought it for me and I used the hell out of it for years until the zip went. She bought me a replacement for Christmas.

Secret Santa at work. I am a big harry potter fan. The person who got me does woodwork. He handmade a beautiful wooden wand with a feather in it 😍

DancingFerret · 12/04/2026 18:28

A "string" bag for my birthday crocheted by a friend who was very hard-up at the time. So useful, and sadly coming to the end of its lollipop after 12 years of almost daily use.

Justcashnosweets · 12/04/2026 18:30

A mutli pack of soft slouchy thick socks in a Secret Santa years ago.

Theonewhogotthecake · 12/04/2026 18:34

An embroidered bookmark with my name and a ladybird.

A shopping bag that folds up into a keyring so I always have a bag with me if I pop into a shop!

Some of my favourite purple pens and notebooks in my Christmas stocking from my DH.

Has it not been proved now that talc is really bad for you? I certainly haven't heard of anyone using it in years. You might want to check that out.

The first mother's day that my daughters had bought presents themselves, they had been in Poundland I think. I cried opening them. A manicure set, a mug and some chocolate. I cried realising they'd organised it all themselves.
