Wasp in bedroom

My bedroom window is open and a wasp is in and on my bedroom light on the ceiling. How do I encourage it out? Don’t want to hurt it.

A queen slid inside a pair of my fluffy socks that were on the floor yesterday - needless to say whilst nursing an ouchy sting on my foot it was given a good send off. Wouldn't even contemplate rescuing one.

At this time of year they're pretty docile. I point at the open door or window, tell them the exit is that way and they get the hint. The ones that don't oblige get doused in kitchen spray or whacked with an old Private Eye.

The fucker was hiding under my bedside table lamp! Now decamped to bedroom. Wasp can have its private party alone!

It is getting that death sentence tomorrow morning. Last night alive in my bedroom.

You were right it didn’t want to leave. Too fucking comfy in MY bedroom on MY bright warm lightbulbs! It hid under my bedside lamp then reappeared like the terminator.
