Were it to happen and the perpetrator caught, I would want them to be dealt with under the law like anybody else. If that means a murder trial and conviction then so be it. You don't get to make your own laws.

That said, for the squeamish, remember that the putative victim in the scenario actively incited a riot which cost lives and had it succeeded would have seen a lot of heads on spikes. So maybe reserve your pity.
