Potentially unpopular opinion, but Rahm being the democratic nominee is the one and only thing that would stop me from voting, although I don't think he will be.
We Dems have got to stop supporting 80 year olds (Maine senate race) and trotting out these Clinton-era Democrats. They're much of a muchness. Tim Miller and John Lovett were talking about him the other day and I totally agreed - apparently he put out something saying if he won the presidency, he'd divert all the ice money to community colleges. Their point was fine, good policy if you're president, but shit is happening now. No one wants a policy white paper for an election that's two years off. I put him in the Schumer camp of not quite getting it's not politics as usual.
IMO, time to hand things over to the next generation.
