I'm 67. I have 2 bucket list trips booked and obviously, given my age, the time available is limited. If they are cancelled because of the orange baboon he will get to understand what hell hath no fury really means.

I am holding off booking final bits (train tickets and entry tickets to certain sights) for our holiday in July, as I am unsure if the flight will have fuel at this point. Trump enforcing the world into lockdown.

I have spotted some deleted posts, but I have been busy, so I did not read the content.
The worst part of this, for me personally, is that you cannot even talk about it!
In real life, very few people will talk about this. Here there is a long list of accusations that can be thrown your way for saying the slightest of criticisms on some points.
Mainly, at least you find someone who is following it all, it is be silent.

Potentially unpopular opinion, but Rahm being the democratic nominee is the one and only thing that would stop me from voting, although I don't think he will be.

We Dems have got to stop supporting 80 year olds (Maine senate race) and trotting out these Clinton-era Democrats. They're much of a muchness. Tim Miller and John Lovett were talking about him the other day and I totally agreed - apparently he put out something saying if he won the presidency, he'd divert all the ice money to community colleges. Their point was fine, good policy if you're president, but shit is happening now. No one wants a policy white paper for an election that's two years off. I put him in the Schumer camp of not quite getting it's not politics as usual.

IMO, time to hand things over to the next generation.
