Nothing can't see a single person ,no cars going up and down the road.

OP posts:

Same here! But earlier an ambulance, with blue lights flashing, went down the road. There's a park at the other end so I would imagine someone has a sports related injury

And I know the elderly lady who lives opposite me is having a visit from her granddaughters today ~ she has been looking forward to it all week.

Apart from that, nowt's 'appening

In the very best Car Share tradition - Dogging.
They congregate on the conservation fields this time of the evening.
I don’t know why as the houses round here have a third of an acre gardens so you’d think they could just do their dogging in their own gardens but no, they traipse up to the conservation fields.

MissingSockDetective · 03/04/2026 19:33

There are a few sheep passing, that's it.

BibbidiBobbidiBailiff · 03/04/2026 19:34

Absolutely nothing, although at 3am this morning there was some bloke ranting and some woman declaring she was going to report someone to the council.

TommorrowsToday · 03/04/2026 19:35

The occasional person or family walking their dog. I saw a jogger about an hour ago (deep suburban Surrey).

Dearg · 03/04/2026 19:35

There are two male ducks trying to persuade a solitary female to shag them.

Nothing else. I think we are the only people still at home for Easter.

HeddaGarbled · 03/04/2026 19:37

Not much: occasional car and dog-walker.

ReignOfError · 03/04/2026 19:38

One child playing out on one of those double scooters - it may be new as she looks faintly terrified!

Laiste · 03/04/2026 19:39

An elderly dog walker and his dog Bob, and 2 plump women riding 2 plump horses are walking by.

TheLightSideOfTheMoon · 03/04/2026 19:40

I just took the dog out for a poo and a couple walking by suggested I must be cold in my pyjamas.

I wasn’t. I have a raging temperature. But give it half an hour and I’ll be freezing again.

There would be no risk of innocent members of the public stumbling upon them in their own gardens. I speak as a non dogger.

Littletreefrog · 03/04/2026 19:42

Next door are washing their campervan. At least 3 people have walked passed and jokingingly asked if they will come and wash their car when they are done.

TinDogTavern · 03/04/2026 19:46

A dad and two kids walking by, a girl and a boy. The girl has a sparkly umbrella up. It is not raining.

TheVeloursImgonnaChangeNsoul · 03/04/2026 19:50

Nothing at the moment hope it stays that way.
We've a beer pot smoking monster below us who can't handle drink and likes to slam doors and throw stuff about.

DundeeNewcastle · 03/04/2026 19:52

Group of kids riding bikes. Street comes to life in Spring, it's great to hear them all out playing.

Butteredtoast55 · 03/04/2026 19:53

Night is beginning to fall and we've just had a runner go by switching on his head torch.

JumpinJehoshaphat · 03/04/2026 19:53

2 horses and their riders went past a couple
of hours ago. Apart from that, a few cars and dog walkers.

Anywherebuthere · 03/04/2026 19:55

Nothing. Lots of parked cars. No people in sight.

FernandoSor · 03/04/2026 19:57

Saw a badger pottering about half an hour ago. The day birds have gone quiet now but the owls will take over the night shift soon. At least the vixens have stopped with the ‘help I’m being murdered’ screams now.

leporello · 03/04/2026 19:57

A bloke in shorts and a baseball hat just walked past.

Dragonscaledaisy · 03/04/2026 20:06

Nothing. Two cars have been past all day. At the back, the badgers are eating their evening peanuts, soon to be replaced by the foxes on the second shift. The male blackbirds are still squabbling over territory.

ApolloandDaphne · 03/04/2026 20:07

I live down a long drive off a private road. Nothing ever happens.

thebeautifulsky · 03/04/2026 20:07

We're rural so no street as such but a flock of sheep and lambs have escaped adjoining field so villagers are out trying to get them back to safety. All happening here!

AnonSugar · 03/04/2026 20:09

Nothing now but my neighbour has set up a personal training gym in his garage so I often see random sweaty people running out and down the street then returning 5 minutes later.

TheCurious0range · 03/04/2026 20:11

Absolutely nothing, the carer who comes in for next door left about ten minutes ago. Can't even see a cat which is unusual, ours is asleep on the sofa
