Thanks to the couple from silicon valley a judge is deciding today after three years in the high court of Ireland if tattle life will be allowed to continue!

Come midnight it's very possible it will cease to exist!

I’ve vaguely heard of tattle life and how awful it is but have never been on it. What’s so awful about it?

This. It’s the influencers and grifters that want it closed down. They don’t like being called out and from what I’ve read on Tattle a lot of posters come with receipts to prove some people’s vile behaviour. It would suit some of them being spoken about for their awful behaviour to simple go away.

Its not even bad. People just say what they see...which is influencers lying and exploiting kids

Nothing. It's a bit bitchy and gossipy about influences and celebs, many of who behave extremely badly themselves but hate being called on it.
Seen far worse here aimed at regular people who don't plaster their 'life' [ o.r. made up stories for money] all over the net.

I remember reading all the news articles about Tattle when the guy who runs it was identified, and all the legal stuff kicked off.

Tattle could still end up being a benchmark/precedent. It remains under scrutiny and pressure to reveal user information (in view of stuff like defamation and/or harrassment).
Some people think they can say whatever they like whilst hiding behind a user name, but attitudes are changing given the increasing concern around online safety policies. Tattle users could face action against them at some future point for historic posts.

Tattle rips into grifters and influencers who are on begging and using their children for money.

Its also scathing about celebs in general, again they make their living by being in the public eye.

BUT its off topic and advice threads where it's people discussing their problems its a hell of a lot nicer than here! I came on in a bad way a few years ago under a different name, I was very close to breaking amd asked for advice.

Instead I got clampets questioning every detail and correcting my grammar. I had a very different experience on Tattle, support advice and links where I could get more help.

So meh.......if you're a grifter I understand why youd want it gone.

There keeps being threads here with attempts to “rally the troops” to defend this ‘power couple’ grifters of whom tattle have been big meanies and not celebrated their awesomeness… (no one ever knows who they are though!😆)

There’s the couple from Belfast who the court case involves, but I don’t know what the Silicon Valley reference is. I had to go to Reddit to figure out the Northern Ireland connection.

Tattle is generally no better or worse than Mumsnet... When people pile on a poster here they get really nasty and bitchy. I actually prefer Tattle, it's a bit more focussed on discussing celebs and very little nastiness between posters.
