I know one of the women who was convicted in the recent case. It was through my job not as a friend or Facebook friend. We were so shocked by her involvement, she was a strange character but on the surface appeared to be a huge animal lover which made it all the more shocking.

I love tattle, it’s funny. Funnily enough there are zero threads about me on there as I like to keep my life private - don’t put yourself in the public eye (& make money from it) if you don’t want criticism 🤷‍♀️

Tattle is great and it’s not that bad - this site can be pretty awful how people are treated tbh with aggressive posters and people being super mean to each other

the threads on tattle are calling out influencers and holding them to account for all the shit they try flog / make people buy and for using their kids for content - stop posting every detail of your life if you don’t want to be called out on it

I can’t bloody stand people posting their kids for content it makes me feel so uneasy! I’ve recognised children around London on days out and they are realised later it’s from Instagram stories of their parent !!

I think having a place to call people out for this shit is fine

they can always quit social media and live a quieter life and then the tattle threads would stop 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

I was curious about tattle a while back, and had a read of the influencer discussion section. I agreed with pretty much everyone posting in there, highlighting the shameless grifters exploiting their children online.

Soo many more awful websites online. This wouldn't even be in the top 100.

This must have been the 5th or 6th post I've seen about the hoped for imminent demise of Tattle by a new (or name changed poster) There will only ever be a thread start post.

Tattle is not the worst, I actually find it rather amusing and most of the posts I read the comments actually stick up for the person if someone goes to far. School girl group chats are way worse and dangerous

I’m going to assume that you are some sort of influencer who uses her child to make money in which case you deserve to be taken down on Tattle. (Your child is innocent but you are not)

Ridiculous. The comments section on pretty much any YouTube video will have more harmful stuff, but no one's touching that as the menz must have chance to moan about women, mustn't they?

I love Tattle. People that hate it are either the target of being outed for being a scamming, grifting influencer or pearl clutchers.

And for me there are far far far worse websites on the Internet. Porn, CSA sites, incel sites etc........

So which one are you OP? One half of the couple taking legal action or an influencer has been called out in grifting, trading your kids out for likes and followers?

I’m starting to think these posters are actually working for Tattle and posting like this to drive traffic there. I haven’t looked at Tattle for months but this has made me want to see what’s going on over there!

I had a look recently and noticed it seems massively quieter than before. The reason I looked was because I’d seen an influencer posting pictures of her child at bathtime and thought it was ill-advised. In the past that would have been mentioned on Tattle but doesn’t seem to be these days.

I think there are a lot of issues with Tattle, no different to any place where gossip occurs, human nature is amplified by the internet. However I think Tattle did draw attention to how ill-advised it is to have children so visible on social media, I suspect it might have resulted in some influencers realising this and stopping doing it.

I think it was also a good place to discuss the advent of influencers and then during their heyday. I think there were a lot of people… influenced… that didn’t fully realise the commercial nature of influencers. Trying to keep up with an illusion. There were not necessarily other places to easily discuss this.
