There was an interesting discussion on The Rest is Entertainment abput how the government of Dubai actively funds ‘content producers’ for social media, giving them free visas and supporting their businesses (if that’s the right word) in order to get that smug message out. The ‘brand’ is pretty much based on luxury and safety, so I’m not sure how it’ll come back from this…

I think there is a lot of frustration that Badenoch and Farage have been forced to reverse ferret. Their fans have to take it out on something.

It’s the 30th anniversary of Dunblane tomorrow. I was on maternity leave with my daughter and vividly remember getting her out of her cot to hold her while I cried.

I think Badenoch is guilty of a feeble gaslighting attempt.

For all his faults, and there are a fair few as we all know, Starmer got this right. I only hope he sticks to it.

I am reminded of this whenever I see Andy Murray. Who was at the school at the time.

I saw that. Ds1 school was just over half a mile away from a key security hub, and there was a primary school even closer.
