Just that. Interested to see if anyone says what I'm thinking...

Shocked at some of the answers. I think Frankfurt is not especially exciting, but Dusseldorf is surprisingly nice. Most boring place - some spa town in Poland I can't even remember the name of. Everything shut at 7. Been to many other places in Poland that I really enjoyed but that one was shit.

IstillloveKingThistle · 25/01/2026 19:51

Canary Islands.
Loathe them

Noooooo not that legend me darlin….😆

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 25/01/2026 19:52

Penmamar. I know that’s not the right spelling but I CBA to look it up.

I was in Llandudno for a week with my Parents and younger Sister and was pissing and moaning and being boring! Anyway my Dad took me to Penmamar and boring doesn’t even come with a billion miles or covering it. My Dad said you’ll never Llandudno boring again will you. 🤣

Namechange152 · 25/01/2026 19:54

Milan and Bratislava.

Loved Rome, Florence, Catalonia, Languedoc, Berlin, Copenhagen, Prague and Toronto

joseph25 · 25/01/2026 19:54

Cornwall - just so dull unless the weather is warm which it rarely is.
Amsterdam - I recently returned with my preteen DD god it was so boring very little to do once we had done the canals, museums and shopping. Never again…

Berlin and Bristol, they just didn’t do it for me.

LeafyMcLeafFace · 25/01/2026 19:55

Malta was pretty boring. Gozo too.

I like most places but also felt this about Malta. Just felt like a big rock.

Shocked by some of the answers like Alhambra and Iceland!! Some of my favourite places.

The interminable antique shops my parents used to drag us round as children. I'm now older than they were then and still have zero interest in antiques.

Same here, I have an aversion to them having been far to exposed to antique fairs and flea markets as a child.

RanchRat · 25/01/2026 19:56

Hunstanton. Sunny Hunny my arse.

CurryTonite · 25/01/2026 19:57

Redditch

Glastonbury in the pissing rain.

One street, an exorbitantly priced cafe, a Boots and soggy, scowling locals. Highlight of the week was the bus in the rain to the nearest discount shopping area - mainly because it also meant we were on the way home.

I am from the Midlands and was pleasantly surprised by how affordable most of the cafes and restaurants were plus no shortage of things to see and do.

Alpineavalanche · 25/01/2026 19:58

Really shocked by this thread. Amsterdam and Berlin boring? They’re both very vibrant huge cities with loads going on!?

I’m going to add Santorini to this. Full of instagrammers and over priced restaurants. I like swimming though so wouldn’t say I was bored.

Wonderlandpeony · 25/01/2026 19:58

Hurghada, Egypt
Bulgaria
Parts of Poland
Iceland

The pencil museum in the Lake District. Thanks Mum!

No point going then (sorry for the awful pun)

IfyouStealMySunshine · 25/01/2026 20:00

The fish ladder - Pitlochry or Ayr in Scotland

Americano75 · 25/01/2026 20:00

I once saw the stage version of Mrs Brown's Boys on stage before it made it to telly if that counts, but that wasn't so much boring as made me wish I was dead.

Tratoir · 25/01/2026 20:03

Brussels. Went twice only because it was for work. Had time to explore the city but didn’t like it.

kerstina · 25/01/2026 20:05

Darls3000 · 25/01/2026 19:29

The Cotswolds. God it was tedious.

Have you been to Broadway during the Christmas, new year period at twilight though? Magical when the lights on the trees come on.

AltitudeCheck · 25/01/2026 20:06

Las Vegas. We'd had a wonderful time on the coast and hiking around the Grand Canyon. Arriving to the plastic hell hole that is Vegas was a shock to the system. Noisy, crowded, and a quite depressing... I just wanted to escape back to open spaces and being able to see the sky!

Dymchurch

But the Martello Tower and the narrow gauge railway to Dungeness. All Wonderful
