Dandy, DS has been living at home for the most part. I think that some of that is down to wanting to be here to help DH take care of me when I came home from the ICU right after Christmas. He also wanted to help DH with the various snowstorms we've had. We have a very large driveway to clear. I think he also likes the fairly easy life he has here. I do his laundry, the fridge is always full, etc. And he loves our cats. I think that he'll be at his new flat much more after next week, when he starts his new job, which is five minutes from his flat but 45 minutes from our house. I'm hoping he'll come home to spend the weekends with us.
We had a nice dinner out last night for DS's birthday. The place he wanted to go is about 30 miles north of us, in a more rural area. We left early, while it was still light out, and it was lovely driving through the snow covered mountains. Dinner was very good, too.
Dandy, encourage your daughter to take the computer science GCSE, especially if she has any aptitude for maths. It's such an important skill these days.
Havoc, I wish we had a Costco near us. I spend far more than that on my hearing aids, but my insurance covers most of the cost.
Math, the forecast for next week has us in the 40's (F) for our daytime highs. I can't wait.
