Yes. I started a new job just before Christmas. I was really enjoying it. Then this week it all went to shit. I'm being given different info all the time about what I should/shouldn't be doing. I'm so lost and confused. I got home on Tuesday and cried. Luckily I'm off until weds now

My sis was run over by a car.
My friend face planted the ground.
My neighbour fell up the kerb.
All hospital stays and I don't know who to fuss over first.
Another friend has had root canal work and is not happy.
My builder doing my bathroom renovation since October has faffed about so long that I've sacked him off. Everything leaks. I have no money to get anyone else in.
But, I have crisps. I shall eat crisps.

DH can't work as car broken.
I've spent three days having frequent seizures.

I'd like to sleep until 2027 please, because if this is an omen of what's to come in 2026, I'm done.

I have to pack the house and I don't know where to start.
My washing machine packed in and I'm behind on my laundry anyway. Expense I didn't need right now due to moving soon, and I'd nearly paid my credit card off. New one not coming until Tuesday.

Shit week for me. Failed my driving test today. I’m in my 40’s ffs. Nerves got the better of me.

MIL died before Christmas, DH got pneumonia, the car battery went then the washer packed up. That was a bad week.

This week DH has been unable to find a white shirt he likes for the funeral and was diagnosed with fluid on his lungs as a result of the pneumonia. I’ve spent more time than I care to say in a hospital today. All credit to them, they were cheerful, competent and efficient. The wait was entirely reasonable, but I’m still fed up.

Planning on breaking the back on it-ish (early January birthday in the household) diet once the kids are in bed with a big fat Chinese, and a massive slab of birthday cake!

Great Aunt died on Christmas Day. Blowout on the motorway necessitated 4 new tyres. My oven and fridge freezer have both packed up this week. It’s been a rubbish start to the year.

All was going well at home until, my laptop died.
Literally died dead no hope can't get a new one for another 14 days.
Only looking for second hand and im dreading the cost of it.

Yes, got a shitty message from landlord right after new year cos we are behind with rent, struggling to make ends meet, first week back to school and I've already had dd2 of today sick. Ds struggling with transition back to school (he asd/ADHD) our fridge has packed up. Worried about DB who's struggling mentally.Not loving 2026 so far.

My skin is awful.
I broke up with a man I really like yesterday.
The weather is snowy enough to be a pain. But not snowy enough to enable me to stay at home and cry about the man under a duvet.
