First time going to Waitrose. Things I should buy.

I am going to Waitrose tomorrow. Is there anything you recommend that's different from other supermarkets.
I believe it's quite a large store so hopefully it is well stocked.

I buy salmon slabs in there and freeze

The truffle chicken Kyiv is my favourite thing from Waitrose. It’s on every order as is the essentials potato salad.

Just been in and bought the brown butter mince pies, warmed one up and enjoyed it with a cuppa, mmmm.

Going to get the cinnamon knots tonight!

Sainsbury’s doesn’t have a deli counter. IMO that’s the best thing about Waitrose; a proper counter where you can get cheese cut whatever weight you want, olives and artichokes spoon into tubs etc.

Their own brand yellow fabric conditioner. It's gorgeous.

Raspberry yum yums! They also have the best pain au chocolates (I think you get x2 large ones in a pack - could be from their no 1 range).

Quality Street Coffee Creams. Six quid a box and totally worth it.

Our local Waitrose is miles better than Sainsbury's but I think the stores can vary quite a bit. The Henley on Thames Waitrose is rubbish in comparison and perhaps there are some nice Sainsbury's stores about!

Cinnamon knots are lethal. I can eat a box.

Waitrose One ice-cream.

They're all really good.

I am always in Waitrose but have never seen that cheese. Sounds delicious, will definitely try it now.

Is Waitrose better than M&S? I fancy a trip now after all these suggestions!

I’d say they’re pretty much on the same level. You might get a discount for a Waitrose delivery being a new customer.

How can Booths and Waitrose both close in the same area? There should be a law against it.

And possibly some bigger trousers

Tomorrow I am hitting Waitrose armed with my £50 gift card. Unfortunately that sum is only sufficient to allow me to sniff a trolley. But I'm sure it will smell divine.
