A small bottle of hot sauce to take to the cricket. A new cup/bottle thing soni dont need to worry about it falling over. A backpack because the one he has is falling apart. Possibly a pair of Christmas socks

He wanted clothes so I've got a denim jacket, a shirt and a jumper from Xara and a long sleeve t shirt from M and S. Normally get small things too but dont think I will as the clothes are quite a lot in themselves.

I keep a list to keep track so here is his list - he ordered almost all of this himself 😂

Ive just remembered my son could be the same age and we have for him 5 books in a series from the charity shop, they don't look like they've ever been raid. A key ring and an egg cup in the feathers mcgraw design.

We do put money into our holiday account though to pay for our holidays that we go on throughout the year

Nothing. We do secret Santa for the adults and I’m not his secret Santa. However, I know he is getting a Segway voucher for two because his secret santa asked me to pay half because either I or DSD will go with him. They then bought him a jumper with the rest of the £50 budget!!

A proper Mathmos lava lamp. He has a few cheap generic lava lamps but he's had his eye on a proper rocket Mathmos one for years. He also wants a plasma ball but the ones the size they used to be when we were kids, they seem to all be tiny now so still on the hunt for that. We are putting together for shared crafting machines like laser cutters/3d printers, a new dremel and jigsaw, and some mini cheese wheels from the chuckling cheese company.

We don’t bother at Christmas. His birthday is on the 22nd and we have 3 kids and just think it’s pointless to spend extra on each other so we just do birthdays.

Nice list! Can I ask what a bob book is please? Oh and what records is he getting?

I've got DH a bottle of Molton Brown shower gel (Cypress and Seafoam), some Byredo Sunday Cologne (last bottle I could get, it's been discontinued).

And we're buying an iPad between us to control the house with (heating, doorbell, music).

Adult children are getting him a particular Japanese knife he's asked for, various books, drink and chocolate. He loves a giant Toblerone!
