Here’s the link.

I know we like a nose around other peoples houses. Might need sunglasses for this one.

That's great! Then again I have a colourful home 😊
It's just such a lovely antidote to grey, grey, grey and greige.

purplecorkheart · 04/12/2025 13:27

I like the house and the location looks nice but I would be repainting nearly all of it first thing. I like some of the bathroom but that is about it. A lot of it looks like you are on an Acid trip.

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 04/12/2025 13:27

I like a lot of her work looking at this. https://www.morningsidegallery.co.uk/artists/emily-powell www.morningsidegallery.co.uk/artists/emily-powell]]]] but not the ones in that sort of scrappy 90s fabric look.

And there is a so-called 'mansion' according to the Government. And its not even in London.

I quite like the rooms- but the hallway and staircase are a bit much IMO.

Not really, it's being sold as a contemporary work of art so hardly typical 😂

It's a migraine of a house imo so I will be saving my £2m to splurge on a mini castle in scotland (a stone coloured one) 😉

...but with fewer side effects 😉!

It needs a good dose of magnolia! Too busy for me.
She hasn’t got around to painting the attic I see.

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 04/12/2025 13:30

It’s reminding me of the bit in Polo where Daisy moves into Ricky France-Lynch’s cottage and paints flowers and animals all over it. At one point Drew thinks it will be like shagging in a wildflower meadow.

LongOutBreath · 04/12/2025 13:30

I love it!

But that's a London price. Had no idea Devon could be so expensive.

WallaceinAnderland · 04/12/2025 13:31

It looks like a toddler has scribbled on the walls. But seriously, surely some of that has been painted by children (the bedroom door). Way, way overpriced.

Purplecatshopaholic · 04/12/2025 13:32

Wowsers! Love most of it, but not at that price. I do like a colourful home but this really is another level..

Babyitscoldoutsideinmyoffice · 04/12/2025 13:37

It’s giving ‘Feyre in the cabin’

CrowsInMyGarden · 04/12/2025 13:39

I’d paint it Magnolia

Ketzele · 04/12/2025 13:40

At that price, you'd have to be buying it as an art investment. You would have to have such faith that her star will continue to rise, that you would be able to eventually sell it to another art enthusiast. That's quite the gamble.

If it fails to sell, do you reckon she'll just slap Setting Plaster over the lot and halve the price?

fluffiphlox · 04/12/2025 13:15

It’s got strong Charleston vibes. (As in the house)

But nowhere near as lovely. Or as well done.

Scotiasdarling · 04/12/2025 13:40

MidnightPatrol · 04/12/2025 13:25

How much would it sell for otherwise?

Assuming this isn’t aimed at someone living in it - rather a ‘piece’ for an art collection…?

There isn't another house in the terrace that has sold for more than £500,000. So the daubs are being valued at £1.5 million. It would be interesting to see if anyone other than the artist thinks they're worth that.

VenusClapTrap · 04/12/2025 13:43

How would you find anything in there? I can just imagine putting something down and that would be it.

Mumwithbaggage · 04/12/2025 13:44

I love colour and I love those colours but I find it quite creepy. Plain walls with big art works would be so much better.

Toddlerteaplease · 04/12/2025 13:44

The artist is going to maintain it after the sale. Wonder what if it gets painted over!

Ha ha ha, you're so right! Except I reckon Daisy's paintings were better.

Toddlerteaplease · 04/12/2025 13:45

I thought the circus tent had been done by a complete amateur!

ThatCyanCat · 04/12/2025 13:46

It's obviously godawful, and yet I'm drawn to the creativity, individuality and total lack of fucks.

Mauvish1 · 04/12/2025 13:46

Blimey. I know Art is down to fashion and personal taste, but looking at that makes me feel I am seriously wasting my own amateur talents. If that's great art, I can't help but feel that the Emperor is wearing some beautiful new clothes today.

fluffiphlox · 04/12/2025 13:48

venus7 · 04/12/2025 13:40

Oh yes I wasn’t suggesting otherwise.

Tiredgremlin · 04/12/2025 13:48

I love it - but would struggle to furnish it!

Augustandeverythingafter1 · 04/12/2025 13:49

Im just laughing at the idea of the artist turning up on the doorstep, paint brush in hand ready to touch up the corners and the owner saying "sorry love. I've painted the whole place magnolia". 🤣
