Please share what you have eaten for lunch today?

Looking for some inspiration and being nosey in equal measure.

Today, I've eaten 3 rice cakes with butter, cream cheese, lots of onion (red and brown), rocket and cucumber plus half a tin of M&S cream of tomato soup.

Would love to see what others have had. 🙏🏼

For me, it has to be Heinz. And I haven't forgiven them for discontinuing the slightly chilli-flavoured version.

I had two boneless pork chops leftover from last night's dinner, with some cucumber sticks and a clementine. Just grabbed whatever I could find to take to work with me. Oh and someone gave me a small chocolate bar for pudding.

Mozzarella on toast with chopped beetroot.

A mince pie!

Fish finger sandwich with avocado

No photo but blue cheese and broccoli quiche, tomatoes, a cheese straw and a banana

Half a warm baguette with tuna, mayo, red wine onion and cucumber.

Delicious!

A not very nice chicken fajita wrap, followed by a really nice iced & spiced bun. Both M&S gluten-free. Their gf stuff is normally good. The sandwich was a disappointment but the bun exceeded expectations! I don't normally buy lunch out - I almost always bring my own ftom home.

A slice of Waitrose hazelnut crème panettone. It was delicious.

Massive bowl of cornflakes with skimmed milk.

Just had the same for dinner 😆

yep, I was tired and hungry and went to McDonald’s.

Home made sweet potato dhansak soup. Was Slimming World recipe, but had an unplanned big chunk of home made bread and vegan butter with it which was not part of the slimming world plan. Then again neither are the cider/crisps combo that I am currently enjoying.

I'm a few hours behind so I just made myself brunch..2 pancakes, crispy bacon topped with a fried egg and lots of syrup. Coffee with gingerbread creamer. It was so good.

One slice of toasted pumpernickel bread with butter and slices of hand-cut cheddar, cup of coffee.

Nothing wrong with breakfast for dinner.

I had protein oats with a grated apple and cup of berries mixed in.

Coop meal deal, chicken mayo sandwich, crisps and juice drink.

I had a yogurt as well.

I had half a tin of lentil soup, 3 tuc sandwich biscuits, an apple, a dark chocolate KitKat and a cup of tea!

Took a packed lunch to work: 2 hard boiled eggs with chopped salad, feta , seeds and an apple after.

A Gregg's sausage roll! Sorry for lowering the tone.

I sometimes fancy something like that or McDs, etc, but I'm always disappointed as it never tastes as good as I'd remembered, so I very rarely bother anymore.

Same. I count myself lucky that my comfort food is a lovely crunch salad with some chicken or cottage cheese and seeds! 😂
