Are we housebound or committed to carrying her around for the foreseeable?

Obviously I am being slightly facetious there but it is becoming a pain … She is 2 years and four months to give an idea.

I do see so many children just chilled out, sat happily in pushchairs and wonder … 😂

I think you are being dramatic with your response to my comment “you are the parent”. I could have said, “you are the adult” or “you are the person responsible keeping the little one safe”

You are in charge and even with the best will in the world and the most gentle parenting some children will scream, cry, rage against being told what to do. That stubborn sense of self is bound to come in useful at some point!

There are loads of useful suggestions in this thread and you seem to have decided all of them are not going to work for you.

Hope you find something that works and if you don’t maybe you’ll gain excellent arm muscles because of all the carrying? My SIL did a lot of carrying and her arms are amazing. Gorgeous to look at.

I hesitate to suggest this (my previous post suggesting the back pack carrier is a better option in most circumstances I think) but I have resorted to attaching a phone to the bumper bar and putting something on that for mine to watch. I’ve typically done that if I’ve got both of them (so I can’t carry them both) or I want to go for a run and need to take one with me in the running pram. You might decide this is a can of worms you don’t want to open but if has helped us at times.
