Tillow4ever · 17/11/2025 21:15

Around 8pm ish. Can be closer to 9pm at the weekends. But your youngest is nearly 14 now, so we don’t do separate meals or worry about bedtime as much

RosesAndHellebores · 17/11/2025 21:16

8ish
When the dc were small 5.30 and I ate with them, as they got bigger (11+), 6.30ish a d I ate with them.
DH was never home before 9 so had his heated up then and I had a glass of wine with him.

Notdanishsusan · 17/11/2025 21:19

5-5.30pm with the kids.

FurForksSake · 17/11/2025 21:21

Sometimes between 4.45 and 7.30, depends on evening activities.

Ive never eaten dinner at 8 and find the whole idea of eating that late breaks my brain.

sakura06 · 17/11/2025 21:22

6pm. We all eat together. Occasionally 6:30.

TheNameWasOnceChosen · 17/11/2025 21:36

About 5pm. I'm retired (medically).

DarkEyedSailor · 17/11/2025 21:38

5.30/6 ish.

dementedpixie · 17/11/2025 21:39

Probably around 8ish during the week. Slightly earlier at the weekends

Arlanymor · 17/11/2025 21:40

Depends on what I am doing. Ideally between 6pm and 8pm - but it's been a busy day, so I'm making spaghetti bolognese as we speak.

pizzaHeart · 17/11/2025 21:41

Usually 6-6.30 pm but twice a week it’s 5.30 due to activities. I then have some sort of supper after the activity.

VegQueen · 17/11/2025 21:42

Usually between 6:30 and 8:30, but sometimes earlier/later. It just depends on what else is happening that day.

PlattyCat · 17/11/2025 21:42

Growing up 6.30
Newly weds: 7/7.30
Now with two small kids: 5.30

GameOfJones · 17/11/2025 21:48

Anytime between 5.30pm and 6.30pm depending on what clubs DDs have after school and what else is going on.

IndigoIsMyFavouriteColour · 17/11/2025 21:50

Between 6 and 7 depending on the day. Once a week we have an early dinner at 17.00/17.30 because husband has a class to get to later on.

TheGrimSmile · 17/11/2025 21:52

I have tea between 5.30 and 7 depending how hungry l am.

mindutopia · 17/11/2025 21:58

Usually 7-7:30pm. Could be as early as 6:30 or as late as 8pm. Kids are 7 & 12, but we’ve eaten this time at least since before youngest was born. Kids snack as needed, now they often have afternoon/evening activities, we finish work and I cook dinner from scratch and we eat when it’s ready, so always later.
