Tommy Robinson is having his 'Festival of Free Speech' in London tomorrow.

I'm also seeing attempts on social media to rehabilitate his image as a 'concerned citizen' and pleas from him to keep things civil, not wear masks and not drink alcohol. Jolly good.

So let's be clear that he has also posted an image promoting his 'free speech festival' standing with Ant Middleton next to a bus, number 88. The far right will be well aware of the use of the number 88 to denote 'Heil Hitler' where H is the 8th letter of the alphabet. This is not an accident.

He has also posted on social media that he is planning to bring a large number of wooden crosses to his 'free speech festival'. This would appear to be an odd choice for a free speech festival but makes more sense if you want to bang on about how England is a Christian Country and Muslims are Not Welcome.

Either way, he is trying to appeal to a wider crowd while at the same time signalling to his racist contingent that it's business as usual.

Does anyone have a clear idea of exactly what the point of the march is?

I mean, to have got out of your bed this morning and traveled into central London, given up your day....there must be some clear, desired outcome. What is it?

The killer of Charlie Kirk was a self identified Groyper—a follower of Nick Fuentes and the variety of things carved on the bullets were allusions to in jokes in the online gamer community which targets gays, women, non whites, furries, trans people and occasionally others in a near identical political space. Charlie Kirk was killed by a rightist fellow traveller. I certainly hope the legendary good faith of Yaxley-Lennon keads him to condemn Mormons, Trumpists, and Groypers for the murder of Charlie Kirk since that is the milieu that produced the killer.

No its been widely reported in the US and the right wing has moved seamlessly from calling for his death to calling for prayer and forgiveness as he is a white boy from a pro trump family.

Fuentes has gone in record trying to disavow a connection to the violence but the two gangs of pro Trump and Pro pro Trump have been publicly cat calking and counter attacking each other for months. This was an internal right wing spat between two pro gun, anti immigrant, anti LGBTQ, and anti women factions of the Trump movement.

For political reasons, because it helps with the widespread repression of the democrats and other out groups, the unfounded accusation that it was an anti fascist or pro trans shooter was made instantly with no real evidence. It has been contradicted now that the arrest has been made.

The only thing that seems really clear is that Tyler Robinson was terminally online. Motive is not yet established.

But seeing as he was captured alive, I guess he should be able to clarify himself at some point.

It wasn’t an anti fascist message. It was one of three messages from a fairly incoherent gamer subgroup that are well known online community in jokes. Since you aren’t aware of the actual politics in the US there is no point having this discussion with you.

I dont agree with everything tommy says but its 100 percent true to say that parts of the UK and europe has been completely changed due to open borders. There are over 50 islamic countries that are under sharia law but why do they pick the west?

Even my country (ireland) I have noticed a change in demographics over the past few years and I think the true racists are the ones who want open borders and to ethnically replace europeans in thier homelands.
