What’s your favourite simple smell?

I have gnocchi bake in the oven right now but all I can smell is the absolutely divine smell of fresh rosemary smoking on top.

I don’t think I will ever tire of that smell.

What are your favourite ‘simple’ smells? Natural, non-processed or manufactured smells?

The first sniff at a newly opened pack of ground coffee.

no idea what people are on about with babies’ heads. I didn’t register any smell coming from my babies, let alone enjoy it from a random baby! Must not have the right receptors.

Petrichor and damp towels. When I've had a shower in the morning and my towel hasn't fully dried after a few hours. That is one of my favourite smells

When you cut into a lime.

Same re babies heads. Nothing!

Tea tree, launderettes, my cat's head.

Washing powder, particularly Fairy. I wish I could find a perfume or a body wash so I could smell like it all day!!

I love many of these especially line dried washing. Geranium, Rose and Lavender. Baking. Cigar smoke. Jasmine. Buttered toast. Coffee Dried bay leaves. Fresh crisp autumn air. The original Karvol smell (discontinued and nothing else is the same). Beeswax.
