Why are governments putting women and girls at higher risk of sex crimes?

Absentmindedsmile · 26/08/2025 12:37

Fact: Hundreds of thousands of men are entering Europe (as in the continent), from countries where women and girls are second class citizens.
**
Fact: The sex crime rate statistics associated with different nationalities living in the UK have been published. An example is provided below.
**
**Facts:
….the [sex crime] rates, based on convictions per 10,000 of the population put Afghans, with 77 convictions, at the top with a rate of 59 per 10,000 – 22.3 times that of Britons.
**
They were followed by Eritreans, who accounted for 59 convictions at a rate of 53.6 per 10,000 of their population.
**
Britons accounted for 12,619 sex offence convictions, representing a rate of 2.66 per per 10,000 of their population in England and Wales.
**
https://archive.md/6AXAy Archive version
**
Fact: This example data blows up any erroneous claims from people suggesting that British men commit more sex crimes when numbers in the population are accounted for / are more likely to commit a sex crime.
**
There’s above is factual data. It is not racist to provide it. To claim this, is quite simply, wrong. Perhaps it’s projection, the mind boggles.

To want ‘no debate’ and bleet on with incorrectly placed accusations of racism, is to shut down people’s valid concerns.

Tin hat on for the people who want no debate on this issue, and instead of protecting women and girls, insist on protecting men from countries where women and girls are treated as second class citizens.

More data has been promised.

The argument that plenty of British men are rapists and domestic abusers therefore it doesn't really matter what happens to women if we let in hundreds of thousands of young men from misogynistic, violent, unstable countries with their own culturally specific misogynistic practices is a bit like saying 'Well, people are always going to murder each other so we might as well legalise guns.' There's a kind of shrugging, nihilistic apathy to it. Who cares if progress is going backwards for women? Who cares if things are getting worse for us? Let's just make life harder and harder.

The argument that plenty of British men are rapists and domestic abusers therefore it doesn't really matter what happens to women

Who is arguing that?

😂 wow. You’re serious. You believe what you’re saying. I’m not surprised. I’ve answered questions many times. Conveniently ignored / distorted . There’s only so many times one can say something. I realise it’s like flogging a dead horse. People like you will never listen. Owen Jones is probably your hero..

My hero is Rosa Parks.

Please stop denying it.

Denying what? I'm not denying anything.

You weren't able to explain why you didn't agree with the points set out in the Fact Check. Probably because you know that you don't have a valid argument.

You can't make something true simply by saying it over and over.

Farage is also planning a deal with Iran's Ayatollah

@MiloMinderbinder925
‘You don't seem to believe that people from Muslim countries should enjoy equal human rights the same as other nationalities.’

Zero logical analysis apparent. But… Well thank you for providing a perfect example of a nasty incorrect conclusion. If we’re dealing with incorrect leaps in logic like yours above, it’s clear we can’t debate seriously.

You aren't here to debate, rather than engage in debate you continue to repeat misinformation.

You have no desire to listen which a genuine poster who is here in good faith would show. You clearly appear to me to have an agenda.

You haven't answered a thing. You haven't conceded that your information is open to dispute and is therefore not fact. The entire premise of your thread is false.

If you had started an honest, open debate about immigration without immediately spreading sweeping generalisations about Muslim men based on raw data as analysed by someone with associations with the far right, this thread would have been very different.

Nobody has distorted anything - except perhaps you yourself, by presenting what you did as fact when it was not.

Mlddleoftheroad · 26/08/2025 22:41

Absentmindedsmile · 26/08/2025 22:24

Yes. Who cares if more girls will be (are being) raped. Collateral damage.

Using the pain and suffering of vulnerable people to score cheap points to hide that you have no good argument is in my opinion, an awful thing to do.

That's scraping the barrel.

Yes, you're flogging a dead horse. Give it up.

@MNHQ, are you really going to let this nonsense carry on?

Anyone who thinks that Farage gives a shiny shit about women's rights is clearly on something.

Mlddleoftheroad · 26/08/2025 22:47

Iran, the state that shoots people in the eye for daring to stand up for women. Yay, let's send people there.

Nothing. It’s obtained from the MoJ via the FOI Act.

People don’t like the data. Cognitive dissonance etc.

People neither like nor trust the 'data', not because of cognitive dissonance, but because they know it has been artistically manipulated to promote a specific political and undoubtedly racist agenda.

There are lies, damn lies and statistics. As you have so admirably demonstrated.

Upupandaway10 · 26/08/2025 23:09

PandoraSocks · 26/08/2025 12:50

Latest figures show that out of over 10 million foreign nationals, 377 are convicted of sexual offences each year.

377 too many of course, but that is a vanishingly low percentage of the foreign national population.

6 out of 7 sexual offences, including rapes, are committed by British people.

Context and presentation are key.

Dont believe that.

EsmaCannonball · 26/08/2025 23:13

I'm really not a fan of Reform, in particular their plans for the NHS, so it would be great (although I have zero actual hopes for this) if one of the mainstream parties got a hold of this issue.

PrincessofWells · 26/08/2025 23:15

MrsBennetsPoorNerves · 26/08/2025 22:22

That's not quite what happened though, is it? Did you read the whole thread?

In fairness I have called Op racist quite a few times, but while misinformation and downright lies are allowed to stand, I seem to be getting my posts deleted, which is unfair because mine are true.

Of course I disagree with them. I have no trouble "owning" the fact that I disagree with racist disinformation being left to stand...I haven't exactly made a secret of that.

But that wasn't the point that I was making.

Is this not the case OP?

PrincessofWells · 26/08/2025 23:43

I've saved mn a job and reported my own post . . . along with a complaint that they validated Ops racist views by suggesting the "facts" quoted were true. And for being complicit in giving a racist a platform on which to air their views.

No, I call it out when I see it along with all the other stuff like misogyny, agism etc. It's because I believe in social justice, the rule of law, and equality and that I can be very confident in saying that from where I'm standing you are a racist. Good prevails eventually and my conscience and integrity are intact.

You said you were heavily involved in VAWAG, in a thread about VAWAG. Then you described VAWAG organisations as an omnicause, and as you're aware omnicause is pejorative. I found it strange that it's something you're heavily involved in whilst describing specialist organisations in disparaging terms. In the interest of truth, perhaps you can explain.

Absentmindedsmile · 27/08/2025 07:44

@MiloMinderbinder925

You are derailing however I will reply once, about this.

Where an organisation that purports to support women, also professes their view that transwomen (men), ‘are women’ - I cease to support them.

This thread isn’t to discuss that (I’ve discussed it many times in other areas).

Same for discussion of the omnicause, it is pejorative, and rightly so.

I’ve a busy day today. So won’t be MNing, happy to later tho.

As I said earlier, I understand that many Western feminists will prioritise men of an ethnic minority over the women of their own country. The reasons are complex, but it’s happening.
