Foods where the cheap bog standard version is better than the naice posh version

"Greek style" yoghurt is foul. It has a weird texture and tastes strange and is less nice in every way than standard plain yoghurt.

Kettle Chips just aren't as good as ordinary crisps.

Poncy houmous in tubs is never as good as the basic kind.

"Steak mince" is dry and tasteless compared with normal mince.

etc. etc.

Came on to say jaffa cakes lidls own much better than named ones

Marks and Spencer chocolate digestives are far nicer than Mcvitie

Lidl middling Rioja is nicer than the more expensive one (very oaky for an easy drink). I thought I didnt like Lidl Rioja till DP told me. The expensive one has a silver label and middle or cheaper one has a red label or writing.
