Is he saying CM is a friend???

With his "a friend once said" cringe-fest at the end of the statement?

Think he means as a fan he considered CM his friend. But he is no longer a fan.

jimmyjammy001 · 17/07/2025 23:32

Let's not leave out the women next to them who was a Co worker and knew full well about they're affair and said nothing, piece of.......

XenoBitch · 17/07/2025 23:32

How awful for the world to know you were at a Coldplay gig 😂

LavenderHaze04 · 17/07/2025 23:34

His wife has removed her married name from her profile so that rubbish apology probably hasn't gone down too well...

SirRaymondClench · 17/07/2025 18:46

His poor wife. I wonder where the piece of shit said said he was on the night.

I hope his wife gets everything.

She’s also married so don’t you feel the same for her husband?
don’t you also think she’s a piece of shit ?

Of course she is.

But for me I can imagine myself in the poor wife's shoes a lot more easily than I can of her husbands.

I feel for both of them but can empathise more with the CEO's wife. So more likely to throw insults at him.

surferwander · 17/07/2025 23:38

That apology looks so obviously fake to me. As if he would quote some Coldplay lyrics at the end of his apology!

@jimmyjammy001 that’s not really fair. If she’d posted on MN asking if she should tell the respective spouses, she’d have been told to mind her own business.

Yes I agree. Lots of posters expressing sympathy for his wife. What about her husband?

Yes! They just promoted her, two weeks ago!

Oceann · 17/07/2025 23:54

His ‘friend’ also sang ‘tears stream down your face, when you lose something you cannot replace’

Maybe he should have used that quote. It does look like a fake statement though.

Brendahollowayreconsider · 17/07/2025 23:56

There's a Ne Scottish phrase for this.
Caught bonnie 🤣

TheWeeDonkeyFella · 17/07/2025 23:56

Just read that his wife works in a school. Probably just about the worst environment to have to face when your D(ickhead)H is going viral online.

MarinaDelRay · 17/07/2025 23:56

The comments on her LinkedIn page today have been hilarious. His poor wife and two sons though. What a way to find out the sort of person your spouse is, if you didn’t know already. Her poor husband too, none of them deserve this.
She joined the company last November. I wonder if he hired her because he already “knew” her?

ItDoesntHaveToBeASnowman · 17/07/2025 23:59

Ahh I’m cringing for him with that statement. What a fucking bellend

BlueEyedBogWitch · 18/07/2025 00:02

Oh Andy.

If only you’d been more para, para, para, paranoid.

samarrange · 18/07/2025 00:10

I wonder what the company's policies are on people having relationships with those who report directly to them?

He’s moaning about consent. Wow. While he’s cheating on his wife - who has presumably not consented to being in a non monogamous relationship.

I regularly say on here cheats have poor personality traits, for example - arrogance, tone deaf, needs smoke blowing up arse, thinks they deserve more, liar, me me me attitude etc. This is just another ten a penny cheat who no doubt thinks he is scintillating, sexy and smooth but really he’s just another sleazy scrotey Steve.

You rarely get to see a public statement from a cheat but that statement is so cheaty mccheater. It’s pathetic and weasley. If you lie to your loved ones what would you do in business?

A cheat Moaning about lack of Consent 🫣, ever the victim, what a dickhead.

"Sleazy scrotey Steve"! Pure gold, love it! 😂😂😂

I don't approve of the fact a woman would generally suffer harsher professional consequences than a man in a kind of 'workplace affair' scenario. But...

She's the most senior HR person - in my view it is worse she acted this way than him and she deserves all the professional consequences. He does too. The difference is, he'll open a new tech business in 2 months' time and still be a shit CEO - by all accounts I've read today, whereas nobody will want to hire her (but she has herself to blame IMO, her actions were just plain stupid). I suppose maybe he'll hire her & they'll live a long happy life, as will their exes - without them, and rich. There will be a happy ending, after all.

Senior HR person is responsible for managing the corporate reputation, but the only person more responsible for it is… the CEO. Who is also the senior person in the affair and by all corporate standards the one
who should take the blame there too. He is more culpable by a long way here on all fronts and I hope the board are crystal clear on that. Culture comes from the top.

No pity for either of the cheaters. The only ones I feel sorry for are their poor spouses and children (if any).

I can't understand how people think they can conduct an affair in public places and not be seen by someone who recognises one of them. He, especially, wasn't exactly a low-profile person. Did they just not care if someone saw and spread the word?

Entitled abusers always think they can get away with anything. Here's hoping their spouses tell them both to piss off.

Perfect response.

I am always astonished that people don't get the reality that being a cheater equates to having a low character. If they can look at a person they have promised to love and cherish, a person who shares their life and their home and lie straight to their face every day, they will lie to anyone else and about anything else at all, without blinking.

All cheaters are untrustworthy, over entitled arseholes, every last one of them (assuming they are in the relationship through mutal consent and have agreed to be monogamous). As for those who turn a blind eye - lie down with dogs, get up with fleas.

Apparently they're both married. So they both wanted to cheat and chose to cheat, that's the "reason". I hope their families blast them both into the stratosphere, poor souls.

Yikes. His poor wife!

And her husband. Both of them are married - for now …

Completely agree @FairyMaclary
