They’re having an affair. One that their colleagues seem to know about (judging by the fact their colleagues were with them at the concert) and they seemed very keen to hide.

Yes, but so what? I have seen people saying they should lose their jobs. Ridiculous.

Chris Martin has one less hater now. Calling out cheaters, awesome! ☠️

Calling out cheaters is awesome. It’s not been confirmed they actually are cheaters. He also didn’t know if they were or not, just being light hearted on stage. Also - why would you be a ‘hater’ of CM? Have you met him? Did he criticise your family?

I know I'll get roasted for this but it's always the Head of HR and the MD or other senior male exec.

It's never the female Head of Finance or IT or Compliance....always HR from the affairs I've come across in my corporate career.

MarySueSaidBoo · 17/07/2025 21:04

I bet Chris Martin feels horrible about this... he knows what it's like to be the one on the receiving end of cheating.

They were taking a huge chance standing wrapped round each other like that - and clearly their work colleagues were well aware of what was going on. But the fact his wife has had to delete her social media is horrible. Poor woman.

All that means nothing when he's happy to be in public groping another woman.

What on earth do you mean? The baseline in any divorce is 50:50 of JOINT assets, but allowances are made for individual needs, such as provision for children, which may result in the chief carer getting a higher proportion of assets. What’s wrong with that?

50:50 division of joint assets is fair. But the whole clearing someone just makes me feel uneasy.

I actually know him professionally. Used to be in a high level position in a company I worked for and he had affairs there too. We've all been messaging each other about it... We think it's good he was caught but assume the board will fire him and feel bad for his wife.

Agree. I actually avoid dating anyone too high up the chain as I've seen so much of this in tech.

I didn’t know about his affairs but also aware of him professionally. Nasty bunch him and his “crew”

His poor wife. I wonder where the piece of shit said said he was on the night.

I hope his wife gets everything.

The woman he was with is reportedly married too.

MrJollyLivesNextDoor · 17/07/2025 21:27

Oh dear

As the saying goes, don’t poke the payroll

Jamesblonde2 · 17/07/2025 21:27

Haha idiots. She doesn’t look worth the grief.

Isn’t this an invasion of privacy though? They could conceivably sue.

You do not have a reasonable expectation of privacy in any public place, let alone a large gig.

GrooveArmada · 17/07/2025 21:34

I don't approve of the fact a woman would generally suffer harsher professional consequences than a man in a kind of 'workplace affair' scenario. But...

She's the most senior HR person - in my view it is worse she acted this way than him and she deserves all the professional consequences. He does too. The difference is, he'll open a new tech business in 2 months' time and still be a shit CEO - by all accounts I've read today, whereas nobody will want to hire her (but she has herself to blame IMO, her actions were just plain stupid). I suppose maybe he'll hire her & they'll live a long happy life, as will their exes - without them, and rich. There will be a happy ending, after all.

abracadabra1980 · 17/07/2025 21:34

They look like brother and sister.

2021x · 17/07/2025 21:36

Hah! oh shit well I mean fuck around and get found out!!!

Why all the Coldplay hate though? They are fine as a band, they have good songs….

Are you equating her looks with her personality?

That's a demographic matter. More women in HR, more male MDs/CEOs.

I understand there are typically more woman in HR and more male MDs/CEO.

My point is it's never the woman in the other senior positions, it's always the woman in HR

Jamesblonde2 · 17/07/2025 21:54

cyvguhb · 17/07/2025 21:45

No I’m saying she doesn’t look worth the hassle an affair is likely to bring. If we’re talking personality, they’ve clearly both got the morals of alley cats.

DancingNotDrowning · 17/07/2025 21:55

The ceo had released the most toe curlingly tone deaf “apology” I’ve read in a while.
