Dear oh dear. Very much caught in the act.

Oblomov25 · 18/07/2025 10:27

His apology was pitiful.
I'm still not keen on the kisscam idea and find it intrusive.

She’s also married so don’t you feel the same for her husband?
don’t you also think she’s a piece of shit ?

Yes I do. Hope that helps 🙄

Check out all the triggered blokes...

MsSmartShoes · 18/07/2025 10:33

At least their spouses have the proof they need and don’t have to endure further lies and gaslighting.

Found on X....

If I was his wife, I'd be incandescent with that last paragraph.

Apparently the statement is a hoax - sorry for posting!

Wowee, it's really grown arms and legs! Thanks for clarifying, still think he's a knobber though😂

CreationNat1on · 18/07/2025 11:11

He is obviously a twat, his hands were cupping her breaths, who does that, in public?

There were other work people there, again, indicator of being a knob. I m going to guess he gets a kick out of pushing things too far, it's exciting fir him to display his affair in front of the other staff members, exciting that the other HR staffer was in on his rule breaking, exciting to cup his affair partner's breasts in public.

When caught, he immediately went into self protection mode. He is not chivilrous or considerate, he likes cheap thrills and getting away with it.

Now that the affair is public knowledge and has damaged him, he ll be looking for someone else to blame. When that blows up in his face, it'll be the mental health, get out of jail card.

Starseeking · 18/07/2025 11:15

The company have come out now to say the first response statement wasn’t made by him…the conspiracy theorist would probably suggest they’re only saying that due to the backlash it received. I bet two of them wish they’d just smiled and waved back now!

Andy Byron's firm slams 'fake statement' after awkward Coldplay kiss cam moment

Astronomer CEO Andy Byron appeared to issue a statement after he was caught in an awkward kiss cam moment at a recent Coldplay concert - but the firm now says it was fake

It can't be real. No way would anyone end a statement with "Lights will guide you home, and ignite your bones, and I will try to fix you."

BettyCrockerClinic · 18/07/2025 12:02

Well, apart from Pete from Gavin and Stacey.

Boomer55 · 18/07/2025 17:03

Oh dear. I bet there are marital ructions going in. 🤷‍♀️

How funny! Unfortunately she'll be the one who loses her job. Bet his divorce will cost him - karma.

"Unfortunately"? She's also married. Her divorce should cost her too.

Lalaloope · 18/07/2025 17:18

TheGander · 17/07/2025 17:23

Isn’t this an invasion of privacy though? They could conceivably sue.

Sue?? "Invasion of privacy" at a very public concert of a very popular band?? HA!

Lalaloope · 18/07/2025 17:22

Highlighta · 17/07/2025 17:47

Apparently the people around are all staff, and the women next to them works in HR.

In the video the HR woman seems to be laughing about it.

In so glad they got caught out.

According to information, the woman next to them cheesing hard was just promoted by the married cheating woman. They seem to do each other personal DEI favours in that company. Certainly not on a "best person for the job" basis. They probably all knew what everyone was up to as per 'work trust' culture.

Not really as they are in a public place.

ThatchedCottageOwner · 18/07/2025 18:21

Is that statement on X genuine?

I was listening to Radio 4 today at 1.45 where this was discussed.
They said (R4) that no statements had been released by either party.

I mean I just don't think anyone deserves to have half their assets ripped from them due to a divorce.

I understand if there's genuine abuse but if 2 people don't love each other anymore, just end it

Of course they do. Marital assets. Marriage is legally binding. Why do you think same sex couples wanted it recognised?

He won’t be having half his assets ripped away because he had an affair, he’ll have to make sure his wife doesn’t suffer financial detriment in the event of divorce. It’ll be a fair distribution of marital assets.

No as terms and conditions of the ticket sales say you may be photographed

TheGander · 17/07/2025 17:23

i doubt it. Most concert tickets say something about photographs and filming. It was a public event.... eg they went out in public. He regularly does the kiss cam so its a known feature. If you are having a secret affair its a bit daft to go to a public concert for someone as famous as chris martin (whatever you think of him) where there will be selfies and cameras everywhere. Apparently the CEO fired the staff member who he had buy the tickets for him !

KM123456 · 18/07/2025 19:54

He's the CEO and she's the head of HR in the company (some data analytics firm, I believe). Bad on so many levels. The person who first posted it said after it went viral: "play stupid games, win stupid prizes" . Which really sums it up on so many levels.
I feel sorry for the other employees at their company--not to mention their families.
