Oh Lordy this heat… what do people wear?

Sweat trickling into my knickers, hair dripping wet… I’m seeing loads of women wearing long black silky skirts - that can’t be cool, can it?

What does everyone wear when it just gets so hot (and they have to commute - works is pretty chilled about what you wear).

Im just a big old sweaty mess…🥵

Linen is really cool.

Global Mandela dresses. They come in cotton or crepe, have an adjustable tie waist and the prints are beautiful. And best of all they’re £20 with free delivery. I own about six in different patterns and get stopped all the time and asked about them. I don’t work for them, they’ve just made choosing what to wear so much easier.

Have you had any allergy testing?
DD used to really struggle and it turned out to be one specific ingredient in most eczema treatments and moisturisers.

But they are made of 100% Polyester (plastic). It doesn’t breathe at all. You might feel a bit cooler due to the style, but you would feel much cooler and more comfortable in a natural fibre (cotton, linen or viscose).

The crepe ones are polyester but the cotton ones are 100% cotton. I have a mix of both

Currently wearing linen/cotton very thin trousers in watermelon colours. Cream short sleeved cotton top.

I don't look like a fashion plate but it's possibly the coolest outfit I have on me.

You’re not the only one op, I’m not dealing well with this hot weather either. I was literally thinking the same as you before I stumbled upon your post. It’s been unbearably hot in the south at the moment and there is no breeze. It’s making me so lethargic. Holiday heat is different and the building are not designed to keep heat in like the U.K. I’ve just been wearing flowy clothes pyjamas and jersey nightshirts. Also hoping no one comes to the door. 😬

Linen, linen, linen and Uniqlo airism t shirts

Thin dresses usually with a v neck or mid-round neck (so imy chest is exposed but not revealing if that makes sense). Knee length and short sleeved. Or light linen shorts with a white or light coloured tshirt

Oh, I love these! Roll on payday! Nice that some are actually cotton too. I hate polyester.
