Forcibly impregnating a mother and then stealing her babies, again and again, just so you can drink her milk

Alcohol

SecretFerret · 09/07/2025 16:18

Not all of society, but a not insignificant portion, believes that there are not two sexes and that we choose whether we are men or women depending on whatever the hell we say we are. Boggles my mind. I think a lot of them actually believe that we shouldn't be constrained by gender stereotypes and conflate the two.

That women go through menstruation every month and give birth and breastfeed and yet we're just basically supposed to get on with full time work and everything else.

There is maternity leave and for the vast majority, periods do not mean that it’s not possible to work.

Working 5 days a week - who decided that was “normal” full time hours? Why not 4, or 3.5? Was it plucked out of thin air?

Ha! It used to be 6 but people fought so that you could have an extra day off. And some employers like Henry Ford implemented it.

Keeping a dog in a cage inside your house.

That we extract the liquefied remains of ancient forests, animals and sea creatures out of the earth, refine them so they are hugely flammable and explosive, pour it into canisters and then ride around on top of them igniting the liquefied remains of said ancient animals thus making the car wheels go round. Or pour them into power plants and burn them.

Whenever people complain about net zero and green energy, that means - back to the liquefied ancient animals.

historically work was six days a week with trade unions campaigning for a 48 hour week. Over the years it has reduced to 5. It might end up being 4 but it’s a gradual evolution.

more to the point who decided a week was 7 days…

People used to work more days with occasional holidays then Sundays etc. The weekend came with the industrial revolution and mechanisation reducing work demands. Maybe AI will bring longer weekends. The four day week is already being trialed and mooted.

That the super rich and/or famous don't have to abide by normal laws because they can throw money at the problem and it disappears (either by paying the fine/bribes, employing expensive lawyers or threatening the person who reported them)

Wheezygonzalez · 09/07/2025 16:29

The fact that water falls free from the sky and it’s fine for every other animal to drink, except us

Mass “education” in schools as a one size fits all
Not fit for modern living

Disturbia81 · 09/07/2025 16:30

Alcohol, smoking, drugs.. putting poison in our bodies and it’s accepted. So many people can’t exist without some kind of chemical.
Mainly alcohol as it’s advertised everywhere and glamorised

Everyone knows its a lie, yet governments are going along with the nonsense that people can change sex.

Yes! I'd rather grow wheat or something and eat it. Makes much more sense. I'd eat berries too so would be A-OK.

Let AI take our jobs I say! Why do we have to work? 😄

Except they’re very emotional, more so than women, they just decided anger wasn’t an emotion

Children being given access to the Internet and apps rife with predators/porn/extremist content but kept indoors for their own safety.
