The day my middle child was born was the day the Mercury Music Prize for that year - 2006 - was announced and we bought her a copy of that. In her case it was “Whatever t People Say I Am That Is What I’m Not” by The Arctic Monkeys. She’s not a fan but she is definitely into heavy music

The Libertines by The Libertines I adored that album when I was her age.
