My DS used to buy CDs when he was around 16/17 (he’s now 24). He used to play them on his play station. I think he stopped after a couple of years as he started work so was out and about a lot more rather than sitting in his room pretending he was revising.

I would argue Definitely Maybe (Oasis' debut album) is musically better than What's the story but doesn't have the most famous songs on it.

Also consider Different Class (Pulp), which for me has aged far better than Oasis' early stuff
