Frys five centres, the creme bar with a different flavour in each section. Yum.

Glorious

Asda used to sell frozen yoghurt with mango sorbet, in a big plastic tub! Think they did a raspberry sorbet one too.. both were lovely.. I always check every summer in case they’ve started doing them again….

mindingmyown37 · 13/06/2025 22:59

Years ago ( I’m talking about 25 years ago) M&S had a pasta with broccoli, was in the freezer, mum used to buy it often as fed 2 of us for 2 days, we used to add spam and sweetcorn, one of the best meals. I also hate the discontinued McCain pizza fingers. I know there’s some at farm foods but they just don’t hit the same.

Nestle Clusters
Kellogg’s Start

Both great cereals!

I bought mango sorbet and lemon sorbet in Asda last week,it doesn't contain yoghurt though.

shellyleppard · 13/06/2025 23:15

@Magenta82 i used to love them!!! Best flavour ever 🤩

M & S battenberg cake - so delicious. It disappeared off the shelves a few years ago. The almond icing was delicious. So much better than any of the other versions around.

Ivesaidenough · 13/06/2025 23:33

Pyramints again and dark chocolate Bounty.
Cranks wholemeal bread.
Baked bean flavour Piglets, crisps shaped like a pig.
Dried peaches from Holland and Barrett. The ones you buy now taste like foam.
A kind of instant blackcurrant cheesecake in a packet you made yourself with milk.
Those Vesta Chinese crispy noodles that puffed up when you fried them.

I’m confused about dark bounty’s I see them all the time!? The red Ones??

They officially discontinued them. Where do you see them and can you send me a lorry load please 🙏

They were discontinued in the uk about 3 years ago but still available in some other countries so you can occasionally find them in the likes of b&m.

They are always in B&M, most corner shops and newsagents, and very occasionally in the supermarket. I know, because I buy them for an elderly relative.

Chocolate pudding in a tin. Mmmm. I searched for them in Covid and mourned their absence.

Cool bitz

Where cool bitz the chocolate bars that had crispy mint bits in?

LetMeGoogleThat · 14/06/2025 08:28

Heinz cream of celery soup, I just can't forgive them for it!

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 14/06/2025 08:44

Mature Cheddar McCoys

NOT the cheddar and onion ones they do now, but maybe 20 years ago they were just cheese and they were delicious.

NegroniMacaroni · 14/06/2025 08:47

Winner Taco ice cream (Wall's / 90s)

Tuti Fruti ice cream by Gino Ginelli (I can still hear the advert!)

Take home the Gino Ginelli ice cream of Italia! 🎶

You can sometimes get plain Bounty in cheap shops.
Dh natters on about Vesta Chicken Supreme. He thinks because you can occasionally find the curry one that I'm lying about the chicken being discontinued. The last time we walked round and round Asda because he was convinced it was there because "they used to sell it". I googled it eventually and showed him. Idiot.
I miss Aztec bars.

I loved the Chicken Supreme. Also their Beef Italienne, but that's going back a long way.
LetMeGoogleThat; Campbells still do a condensed Cream of Celery soup. I sometimes find it in Waitrose.
M&S used to have an individual Pear and Frangipane tart on their bakery counter. I used to get one on my way to work.

This thread is equal parts delightfully nostalgic and traumatising.

I had no idea raisin & biscuit Clubs were no more. Fine, I haven’t had one for about 30 years, but I was happy in life thinking, “oh, one day I’ll pick up a packet and re-live school packed lunches.”

Now? I’ve been robbed.

Haveyoubrushedyourteeth · 14/06/2025 09:08

Big pots of just the white muller yogurt that you get in the fruit corners. I've looked for it for the best part of 20 years, still struggling to accept that it's gone 😌

Nitgel · 14/06/2025 09:15

I really miss these lovely blocks of mousse. And the little pots of mousse. Why did they stop making mousse like this 😪

Wetherspoons Ceaser Wetherwrap with curly fries!

powershowerforanhour · 14/06/2025 09:23

Somebody mentioned dried peaches which reminded me- when I lived in the south of Ireland you used to be able to get dried pears from Tesco. I loved those and haven't seen them since.

IfYouPutASausageInItItsNotAViennetta · 14/06/2025 09:45

Proper Lucozade. They threw away its unique raison d'etre and made it into a generic pop drink just like all of the others.
