It was one about grain silos on farms. A doll got sucked into it. Terrifying.

I was also very worried about rabies as a child due to advertising.

Pretty much all of the 70s public information film's, dark water,not to play with discarded fridges as you may become trapped and no one will hear you, frisbee and the power station.

The AIDS monolith advert in the late 80’s. I was only a child but my sister’s friend had just died of it and it scared the living daylights out of me for years. It’s obviously not the death sentence it once was by any means and there’s so much more knowledge around it now, but at the time it was terrifying.

The danish bacon one where the man with the extremely nose came through the cat flap.

There was a vodka advert I think it was for ready made Moscow mules that was unnerving I think so many people complained it was removed.

There was one about wearing wellies on an escalator and standing too close to the side. If you did your feet would be chewed up (in my 8yr old head).
I still think about it today when stepping into an escalator!

I remember one - I think it was from the 60s, a road safety one. There was a little girl with a doll's pram with her mother, who had a baby in a pram, and the little girl got run over by a lorry I think. It wasn't graphic but I thought it was very frightening. I haven't been able to find it.

The ‘Julie knew her killer’ seatbelt advert. My daughter was being really casual about it so I made her sit through it and she was not happy but it stuck with me and so it’ll stick with her!
