What are the simple things that made a true difference to your quality of life?

For me it is terribly pedestrian.

Hot soapy shower before bed. Getting into bed all clean and warm makes me feel so good.

Peppermint tea before bed- same

Getting up at 5.30 am and having a quiet cup of coffee and reading a book before everyone else gets up at 6.

st 65, I’m in as fit as I’ve been since my teens, just sorry DM is not around to see me doing what she always encouraged me to do and I resisted til .. she wasn’t around any more.

Making time to walk my kids to school and nursery and trying to finish on time
to see them in the evening.

It is so soft and light. It’s cool but also warm!
it feels like sleeping under a cloud and it’s so beautiful.
I love it! Ordered more for the other beds in my house. Makes me feel like a princess! 🥰🤣

Having cold-brewed iced tea permanently in the fridge. I buy a whole range of different blends from Bird & Blend, then each night before bed, I make a caffeinated one in my special bottle (it has a built-in sieve). In the morning, I decant it into another bottle and prepare a decaf one for the afternoon. Means I drink so much more water because it tastes nice!

i joined a Pilates class and it’s my favourite time of the week, I fell stronger and happier

my family and my dog make every day better

walking from my house straight into the countryside, seeing swans, ducks, trees and beautiful scenery every day

And @twinmum2007 - they're called Musicozy. You can get it on Amazon - I got a different make after one of the wires broke on my musicozy because I've been trying not to.use Amazon, which is the only place I've seen them. But the other make wasn't as good (band was too big, sound quality not as good) so I bought another set of musicozy and keep the other ones as backup.

DH (second marriage) making me a morning cappuccino.

Snuggling up in bed with DH before we go to sleep.

Good quality food.

Walks in the countryside with good friends.

Picking vegetables from our little garden that we've grown from seed.

Seeing my now (just) adult DS doing so well in their studies.

I second the Musicozy headbands. I listen to podcasts, music or twitch streams in bed most nights and drift off to sleep regularly because you can lie on your side, your back, whatever and they're so comfy. I used to take SO LONG to fall asleep, now I get mad because I fall asleep and miss the end of my podcasts!!

Another life saver for me is formula 1. My family aren't interested but know to leave me be to watch it, often they go out when it's on so I get those few hours to watch the sport I love, knowing that I won't get interrupted or asked to do anything.

Also Sanctuary products, my gorgeous cat and an hour or two reading with a hot chocolate.

Exercise, especially running and dance, but I also strength train 4 times a week and feel good after. Running and dancing gives me the high while I'm doing it.

Morning coffees. Look forward to waking up for this.

Worldle over said coffees.

Treating myself to healthy cafe food.

Working from home and working part-time.

Walking through my local gorgeous park.

Feeding and watching the waterfowl in the park.

Walking and running almost everywhere, if not then cycling.
