Something others do and make it look easy but you cant get the hang of it.

For me its cross word puzzles never finished one i have tried but it goes in the bin.
Sudoku what a waste of time.
Home made custard cant make it at all even reading the how to make it still fuck it up somehow.
Pancakes dont get me started i just have to buy them.

Put my hair into a bun.

I can not visualise anything.
Some say just imagine the whole room in this paint No i have to paint the whole place then see it.

Tried all of that. Makes no difference.

Interior decoration - cannot ever make a decision so do nothing!

Driving. Still trying to pass, even in my 40s!

sewing, knitting, crochet. A lot of my old class mates sew and knit beautiful clothes and I can’t even sew a button on!

Ice skating and roller skating. How envious I was of those people swooping around the rink!

Gave up trying so it's the trusty paint roller and pole every time now.

I can't do up a bra behind my back. Have to do it backwards and swivel it around.

There was a mumsnet thread poll on this years ago and iirc based on that unscientific poll, about a quarter of women can't!

poach your eggs in a frying pan....so much easier. I've been doing this for years and have never had a bad one.

Ice skating - I can skate forward only. When I try doing that changeover to skate backwards I tip over. I see small children at my local rink doing it effortlessly. What the heck are they doing with their feet??
Cling film - can't get it to cling. To be fair, this may be an equipment failure.
Getting all the oven cleaner residue off the interior of my oven.

Taking off old, battered windshield wipers and putting shiny new wipers on my car - nope, and the illustrations on the wiper packet instructions were not helpful to say the least. I'll have to wait til DS is back in town.

Squash! I’ve played tennis all my life and used to play Badminton years ago but Squash I just couldn’t get on with.

My husband plays it and so does my brother and my brother in laws. Maybe it’s man thing as my sisters and sister in law find it difficult.

Jigsaws too, my abusive father made us do them as kids and I now have a complete aversion to them.

@mathanxiety I can't ice skate at all. I remember trying it and basically just gripping onto the side of the rink until the guy in charge loudly announced on his tannoy 'please can the woman in the red jumper make her way off the rink'. So embarrassing 🤣

I'm the opposite. No problem reverse parking but am absolutely terrible at parallel parking!

I couldn't poach eggs either like a lot of others on this thread so bought these...you put them holey side down into saucepan of boiling water then crack the eggs into the top. Now perfect poached eggs every time at home!
