DH and DS Palace season ticket holders, they’re on their way to Wembley. DD and I at home, I’ve not watched any of the previous matches so won’t start now, DD will and give me commentary.

it would mean so much if they could win, esp Joel Ward’s last match

Does anyone know when they'll do the bus parade? I'd love to go back for it but live up north so need to plan!

I was contemplating doing this too but can't! My brother will probably go so ill get pics!

Me and my adult son are Man Utd season ticket holders, we were rooting for Palace today though and we could hardly watch the last 20 minutes. So happy for you Palace supporters, we’ve been at Wembley a fair few times for cup wins so know how elated you’ll be feeling.

No surprise that Pep was being a knob, he’s a bad loser.

Palace fan living far from SE25 here. I bought a round for the whole pub when the final whistle went.

I'm a south Londoner who's lived in Yorkshire for the last 27 years. Went out, looked at my phone on 89th minute. Sat in a lay-by on the pennies with my heart in my mouth for the next 11 mins.

Came home to grumpy northern family!

murasaki · 17/05/2025 21:58

I'm definitely popping out for the bus parade. Should be good fun.

They're back! Lost their voices too. DS dropped the bombshell that the Wolves game will go on for hours cos they'll bring the cup out/do the lap of honour after the match. Which is fine but he has a GCSE the next day

He will have to revise lots before the match to make up for it. These special moments don't come round often enough. I was lucky to see my team Spurs win at Wembley in 1991, probably the only time it will happen in my lifetime!!! Will always remember it.

Enjoy it!!!

Took me about 4 days to regain my voice after the semi final if that's a helpful guide Grin

I feared Tuesday would turn into a long one. We KO later than "usual" as it is. Add in normal end of season celebrations, goodbye to Wardy, plus a trophy... I'm not on board with last home games being midweek if I'm honest.

No, it's a real shame but at least they'll have the Parade

I’m a Doncaster Rovers fan so a neutral. Even though Crystal Palace knocked us out i would love them to win.

I'm RTID too!

Boomer84 · 18/05/2025 18:13

I’m 3rd generation palace supporter, it’s in my blood. I’ve never lived locally though so haven’t been in ages but once you’re palace you’re for life. Watched it with my mum and son and we were screaming and crying and were so overjoyed to win. The boys did us proud ❤️💙 🦅

I'm a Doncaster Rovers fan too but my husband has always been a staunch Palace supporter. He's over the moon!

Absolutely delighted for Palace this weekend from a Sunderland fan.

loved watching the celebrations, very moving seeing so many fans in tears. Would not have meant as much to the city fans but this felt so special.

my son and I listen to the football between the lines podcast with a palace fan and couldn’t wait for the latest episode to come out today.

Good luck to Sunderland, hope you get promoted.

Jordan Pickford, he is a Mackem, he is a Blue 🎶

Thank you. Good luck to you vs Newcastle for the final game. Pickford always seems to play well against them!
