DH and DS Palace season ticket holders, they’re on their way to Wembley. DD and I at home, I’ve not watched any of the previous matches so won’t start now, DD will and give me commentary.

I’m a Scot, from rugby country, have very little knowledge or interest in day to day English football, and even I’m hoping for a Palace win. The FA Cup does have some special magic I agree.

Love an underdog, Daniel beats Goliath story. But also believe there’s been a lot of dodgy financial stuff at Man City and they shouldn’t get away with that.

Yeah, we're a blue household, but how could anyone be sad to see a team get their first major trophy? Great for the game.

I used to live practically opposite their training ground back when I worked in London so they're a team I generally like to see doing well.

actually, when all that CR7 Ronaldo stuff came out in the shops I assumed it was cos it was the local postcode. It was only when I saw it in Oxford St that a hysterical DS explained it was Ronaldo’s number not Thornton Heath !

I am not a football fan but live in the CP ‘catchment’ and excitement is high.
