Can you remember the first thing you ordered off Amazon was?

I remember ordering two girls aloud DVDs. One was their Chemistry tour and the second was a documentary series about them preparing for the tour. At the time it seemed to exciting we would be able to watch the tour over and over as often as we wanted. I also remember Amazon parcels were just sent through Royal Mail and having to get the bus into town to pick up the parcel from the sorting office.

First was an academic book for my PhD. I note it’s written by one of the people who gave me my first academic job a few years later, so thanks for that, Amazon.
Second was a Sims expansion pack, and then various obscure Anne of Green Gables books I had never been able to find before then.

In 2002 I bought an audio book for my now deceased dad. I had it delivered to his house, I don't know if he ever listened to it.
I also ordered 2 holiday guides for my honeymoon destination.
I'm going to get nostalgic and look back at all the things I bought 20 years ago.

Just looked it up - a Wii Fit!

I loved Wii Fit! I didn’t appreciate it calling me overweight at the ripe age of 12, mind! 😂

Not specifically but I do remember when it was just books so it would have probably been a textbook when I was in university

2001!!

I don't know why it says delayed, I definitely received both books.

My old orders say the same thing, I only looked at 2000-2001, and they all did. Didn’t look any further. I definitely received mine too, so it’s probably just a “thing” on some old orders.

Would have been a book cause back then that’s all they sold.
