I used to love Cadbury… years ago, now it just has no flavour it’s waxy almost and just the texture everything is off, I like Tony’s and green and black isn’t bad, galaxy I’ve never like too sweet, what’s a good chocolate for a treat?

Tosier link explains why even fair trade chocolate isn't good enough for ensuring fairness

I restarted my laptop things happen its old.

However does anyone know of any chocolate that none chocolate eaters can eat.

Chocolate-free chocolate? Have you come across Caroboo? Pretty nice, no chocolate, it's carob instead, but not worthy iykwim. Also, what is it about the chocolate that doesn't work for you? Is white chocolate OK?

Aldi 85% cocoa Moser Roth. Lovely little bars, 151 cals, <6g carbs. Delicious!

I like the Sainsbury basic dark chocolate better than Cadbury for a cheap and cheerful chocolate bar

aldi orange and almond dark chocolate

or Lidl 80% dark chocolate

I did get an online vegan chocolate- but can’t find it atm and it was delicious

Ive not eaten chocolate in 3 years or anything that has coco/chocolate in it.

How sad for you but I am sure your smugness cheers you up.

Well perhaps if you had explained in the first place then people would read your post in the way you intended

I was an absolute Chocolate addict, I loved M&S giant buttons and their Swiss bars or their chocolate pretzels. Sadly when I got Covid it wiped out any enjoyment so I can’t eat it anymore. <sad Daily Mail face>

Gnaw 79% raspberry (I’m vegan but I don’t like oat type chocolate; this is lush).

I've tried all the Gnaw flavours and they're all delicious, my favourites.

I like Galaxy ,but still dont dislike Cadburys at all. I had the Mini Eggs one and DC the Flake all good! ( just polished off a nifty Smarties one on half price SB!) DC are older

I like the little bars that Aldi do as a multipack the milk and dark chocolate ones,

Cabdury’s is rank now, DH got me an Easter egg and it was revolting just tasted oily. Last straw for me I used to like the egg chocolate but never again.

Hardly think my comment was judging you. Maybe update your initial post as people tend to not read pages of comments so can bypass your replies.

Kinder Bueno

Petuniaspetal · 30/12/2025 10:36

I've turned to Milka chocolate (high street) as it has no palm oil. This is the first year I haven't bought Quality Street, before it was a Christmas staple now it just doesn't taste the same.Moat chocolate now is Palm Oil and its rank. For more high brow its Chococo.

comeondover · 30/12/2025 11:20

I was given Hotel Chocolat for Christmas and it was horrible.

ToBeOrNotToBee · 30/12/2025 12:59

Wenzels polish chocolate is banging

IMTHECRAZYOLDLADY · 30/12/2025 13:08

I’m quite enjoying good old Toblerone at the moment.

Heyhelga · 30/12/2025 13:18

Terry's Chocolate Orange always hits the spot for me.

We were gifted a box of milk tray - we had one each then put them in the bin! All very sweet and sickly and nothing like Cadburys used to be! Feel like going out and buying something to replace them so will read this thread with interest as I no longer no what to buy to get a good chocolate fix!
