I agree. He was going to counter sue but the palace advised against it. Someone else, maybe more than one person, was going to counter-sue her but she backed down. I wish Prince Andrew had stuck to his guns.

We don't precisely how much money she was paid, £8m and £12m were bandied about, also that his mother paid but he did sell his ski lodge owned by him and ex-wife (that was 'said' to be sold for £19m).

I'd like to know what her now estranged husband knows about it all but no doubt he is silenced.

It's very odd that she isn't able to see her children.

I have a feeling she will recover.

She's probably posting because she knew if she didn't, this would never have made the news given that the royal fascists would pay every fucking paper to keep it quiet. Use your brains ffs. More to the point, just because you or your families have experienced renal failure, does not make you experts. There could be other reasons alongside that which could be making things so much worse.

Whilst i 100% agree that a settlement isn’t to be seen as an admission of liability I also think it’s wildly unrealistic to pretend that a normal woman without financial means was able to hold prince Andrew to ransom- financially- because she could afford to take legal action further than he could.

£8m would’ve bought him a hell of a lot of legal fees too

I don't know what the truth is in this story, but agree with PP. What we do know about VG is she came from poor, troubled background was a victim of CSE and trafficking and somehow ended up at parties with Epstein and Prince Andrew. Maybe she isn't always telling the truth (I don't know), but surely we can accept she has good reasons to have very challenging mental health, and offer some sympathy.

I also agree that if there is any truth in this, and if she has any reason at all to believe she was targeted, I'd want to get the story out before I died too.
