I knew the aga would be the death of my street cred!

wendywoopywoo222 · 14/03/2025 16:36

44% for me. I love my red trousers.

JandamiHash · 14/03/2025 16:37

40%! I feel like I’ve got points knocked off for being northern but where I live is much posher than about 90% of places in the south

TheOliveFinch · 14/03/2025 16:37

43% despite going to a comprehensive and shopping at Lidl, must have been the opera and horse riding bumped it up

PyrannosaurusRex · 14/03/2025 16:25

And it can't be a forensic examination of poshness without dog queries.

Yeah, real posh people have a black lab and wear a grubby old Barbour, not Jack Wills.

Which of those restaurants is supposed to be posh, is it Pizza Express? Because I thought that was only the Woking branch.

changedusernameforthis1 · 14/03/2025 16:40

24% posh. I'm really not - i just genuinely like the choices at waitrose and learned to ride a horse because my older sister paid for lessons when she got her first job 😅

Right – like the working classes can’t possibly enjoy opera 😂

Libre2 · 14/03/2025 16:42

Alltheburpees · 14/03/2025 15:40

34%, but it didn’t ask me if I had a bidet. I have, and that’s how I know I am vair posh.

This is absolutely on my "must have" list. Everyone else thinks I'm bonkers but I really want a bidet! I realise this is not what this thread is about - maybe I should start an "I want a bidet" thread. We have no room in either of our bathrooms...Sad times.

YoungSoak · 14/03/2025 16:44

25%. Happy with that.

EAT THE RICH!

bert3400 · 14/03/2025 16:45

63% ...I think it was the swimming pool and tennis court that got me there (I don't live in the UK )

EdithStourton · 14/03/2025 16:45

Because I have become prosperous and grew up rurally, it judged me as if I had grown up prosperous.

Twaddle, honestly.

BobbyBiscuits · 14/03/2025 16:46

I got 14%. I put I went to opera and skiing but I only went skiing once and it was compulsory works trip paid for by my boss. It was horrendous! I was terrified. Lol.

The opera I like so have been to that probably ten times, maybe even more. But often small theatre productions not epic west end type shows.

AnnaMagnani · 14/03/2025 15:19

66% and was robbed!

Quiz writer doesn't understand it's only blokes that wear red trousers.

Same!!!

And Hollister ain't posh

WinterFrogs · 14/03/2025 16:49

At 82% I'm pretty bloody posh apparently.
But that was based around my childhood.
A lot less bloody posh these days!

Mirabai · 14/03/2025 16:50

76%

paddlinglikecrazy · 14/03/2025 16:52

14% 😃

NottsNora · 14/03/2025 16:52

80% posh and I don’t even have a tennis court although my ex husband had one. Please don’t put me against the wall come the revolution.

CreationNat1on · 14/03/2025 16:53

73% didn't read any blurb

I answered yes to that and I’m not a bloke!

Yes but red trousers on women don’t have the social connotations that they do for men

I8toys · 14/03/2025 16:55

26% I come from a council estate in Stoke but now live like a middle classer in North Yorkshire. The roots don't lie.

Lakeyloo · 14/03/2025 16:55

55% but half of West Sussex drink G&T and can ride a horse !

Doingmybestbut · 14/03/2025 16:55

I got 43% and by mumsnet standards I am utterly common. I say toilet for a start.
