Tiramisu.

I'm about to try some.
I know I'm not going to like it, but hey ho! 😅

Anything you've yet to try?

Love Tiramisu 😋
I have never eaten black (or white) sausage. And despite being married to a northerner who loves it, I hope never to try it either.

CatherinedeBourgh · 02/03/2025 17:15

I've tried all of the above and hated them all. I'm a really fussy eater, but I do make myself try everything once (and then never again).

I've never eaten quorn though. It sounds awful, I'd try it if someone was offering me one small mouthful, but no one has ever offered it to me and I won't go out and buy it.

Coffeeishot · 02/03/2025 17:16

Kale it looks like nettles,

Kimchi I know it's on trend but I've never fancied it.

Edited to say in in my 50s and tiramasu is overrated

Ddakji · 02/03/2025 17:16

Lots of people are listing stuff that is hardly common these days, so not really the same as tiramisu.

I’n in my 50s and up until quite recently I’d never eaten a grape. And having tried one I shall never eat one again.

FridgeJenga · 02/03/2025 17:16

@Offleyhoo @Ughouchargh @EggandStress

Well I don’t like coffee, chocolate or cream so… 😂

I’ve tried it now, and it is ok.
Not spit it out of your mouth disgusting, but I think I can live without it!
It was a dessert part of a M&S meal deal so I thought I’d be brave and give it a go.
DH will happily polish it off so no wastage!

Oysters and tripe. Never had a margarita either.

I did once eat snails in a posh restaurant and it didn't agree with me and it wasn't staying in my stomach, despite being tasty. Thankfully there was a plant pot next to my seat. 😬🤢🤭

TigerRag · 02/03/2025 17:17

Another who has never tried tiramisu!

Thewalrusandthecarpenter · 02/03/2025 17:17

Never had McDonald's

OchonAgusOchonOh · 02/03/2025 17:18

Porridge. I really don't like the look of it. I'm 60 next month so I reckon at this stage, I'm definitely never going to try it despite being willing to try pretty much anything generally. Needs to be veggie though as I'm vegetarian.

ExtraDecluttering · 02/03/2025 17:18

I’ve eaten and like most of these but hate Tiramisu (hate trifle too).

Oysters and seafood, mmmm.

I have never tried white pudding though. Love black pudding.

Justcallmebebes · 02/03/2025 17:19

Pfaffingabout · 02/03/2025 17:12

Rabbit

Me neither. Late 50's and never eaten tripe and don't want to, but I love food so have eaten most things. Tiramisso is really yummy, enjoy

RominaDina · 02/03/2025 17:20

Tea.
Regular English type tea. The smell has always made me feel sick from early childhood, which was problematic as my parents drank it all the time. It literally makes me want to vomit. When people drink it at work I eat a strong mint to block out the horrendous smell.

RominaDina · 02/03/2025 17:20

Mushrooms. Those revolting black gills underneath. Shudder.

kalokagathos · 02/03/2025 17:21

Sake

Megapint · 02/03/2025 17:23

Avocado
Any form of salty/ spicy chocolate or caramel

InsegnanteScozzese · 02/03/2025 17:24

A banana.

AllProperTeaIsTheft · 02/03/2025 17:24

Tripe, white pudding. Can't think of anything else off the top of my head...

I'll eat most things, except oysters, taramasalata, caviar and okra.

Whateverwhateverever · 02/03/2025 17:25

Stai · 02/03/2025 17:25

Anything other than a cheeseburger at McDonalds or Burger King

More than I thought, I always assumed I was more adventurous than that. Something to aim for this year!

HelenWheels · 02/03/2025 17:25

Stilton
Durian Fruit

We all tried durian as a dare to each other when we were on holiday in Malaysia, including our 6 yr old.
It was freshly prepared by the durian stall owner. They sell mountains of them, they’re so highly prized.
Safe to say, it was an unanimous No from all of us.
Mangosteens on the other hand, are delicious 👌🏻

I have actually tried (and liked) all three of these!

I’ve never tried oysters, but nothing, and I mean NOTHING, could convince me to swallow globs of salty snot.

You’ve misjudged oysters. They are also gritty. Salty gritty snot. Mmmmm! 🤢

0192837465V · 02/03/2025 17:28

I haven't eaten any kind of seafood, caviar, or escargot ( snails) and I'm very fussy about fish.

No black pudding, haggis, tripe, eels yes I was offered some once but declined the invitation.
Haven't tried many of the fruits and veg that I've seen in the supermarkets and that I'm not familiar with, oh and tiramisu I've never had that either.

I have had thinly sliced horse meat on bread, had that in the Netherlands, apparently a delicacy, so it was either horse meat or eel.

NoDramas · 02/03/2025 17:30

Never eaten baked beans. Mid 50's

IAmNeverThePerson · 02/03/2025 17:31

Tripe
