Just one a football one.

Bloody typos.
One - Afghanistan (pre-Taliban)

Callixte · 02/03/2025 06:17

Outside, 2 - Maltese flag, EU flag.

Inside, one of my kids has a Ukrainian flag, a (Scottish) Saltire, and a UK flag in his bedroom.

I have a Canadian flag that I've stuck into the siding on the deck. It's seen better days and is quite faded, but it'll do. It measures about the size of a sheet of legal size paper.

StrictlyAFemaleFemale · 02/03/2025 06:38

My home is Danish, so we have 3 for the birthday table, bunting, a big one for the flag pole, and I think a plastic or paper one from when we picked someone up from the airport.

avocadotofu · 02/03/2025 07:39

Zero.

unlimiteddilutingjuice · 02/03/2025 07:43

Quite a lot, actually. Maps and flags are one of DSs special interests.
On the inside, our house looks like a pub that's preparing for the world cup.

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 02/03/2025 07:47

To add... we also have a vase with small LGBTQ+ flag, Vancouver Canucks and Sheffield Steelers (last 2 both ice hockey) in.

Dallygre · 02/03/2025 07:49

one but it’s a patch on a hat, my local areas flag.

BestZebbie · 02/03/2025 07:58

No actual flags, but do have a Welsh dragon fridge magnet from a holiday and only recently managed to use up the last of the Union Jack paper napkins from the jubilee/coronation…..

Dweetfidilove · 02/03/2025 08:00

2 largish ones and 2 of the small ones you get on sticks at e events.

HelpMeGetThrough · 02/03/2025 08:01

No flags, but we've got a cartoon of Adolf Hitler on the wall. 😳

Xiaoxiong · 02/03/2025 08:04

DS2 has a Metallica one behind his bed.

Erm…

MrsJHernandez · 01/03/2025 19:58

Umm. None. Personally I find them a bit "chavvy". Sorry!

This.

HelpMeGetThrough · 02/03/2025 08:12

Erm

It's a British WW2 poster.

2025mustbebetter · 02/03/2025 08:19

None.

And I'm a geography teacher!

I do have an excessive amount of maps though!

SirSidneyRuffDiamond · 02/03/2025 08:19

One Union flag which has been in the family since a 1945 victory celebration. 1 more modern Union flag and an RAF ensign we use for various anniversaries and parties. 3 flags in presentation box frames presented to DH during the course of his career - they flew over bases during the tenure of his command.

WonderingWanda · 02/03/2025 08:23

None but I have a lot hanging in my classroom.

RedToothBrush · 02/03/2025 08:25

Ooo does that mean if you can trace your ancestry back four generations you are 'allowed' to claim that flag?

We have a ridiculous relationship with flags in this country. "I'm too posh / culturally superior to have a flag." Yawn.

Flags have a tendency to multiply in our house around the third week in May. They are not necessarily 'ours'. Flags on food are a particular fav.

WeeOrcadian · 01/03/2025 20:04

None

Bizarre question, even for MN

I do like the occasional mention of bunting, though. That’s very MN!

AuntAgathaGregson · 02/03/2025 08:36

None

MumonabikeE5 · 02/03/2025 08:37

Probably a bunch of red ones.

Idratherbepaddleboarding · 02/03/2025 08:58

1 Be Wiser Ducati one from the British Superbikes that Belinda to DS. I don’t think they’re a current team though so it’s kind of useless. He enjoyed waving it during the races though.

aspidernamedfluffy · 02/03/2025 09:02

None. I can't think of any reason I would have one in my home.

Spongebobpatrick · 02/03/2025 09:05

I was going to say none but then you reminded me that DC have one for the rugby team they support in their games room. They also have a small Ireland flag out in their playhouse that they bring to St Patrick's day parades.
