There is a live queen too, Camilla is now The Queen.

I don't see her as the Queen. If that's the case, why was Philip never King?!

iwentjasonwaterfalls · 01/03/2025 20:17

A couple of Welsh flags and an Owain Glyndŵr flag.

AndThereSheGoes · 01/03/2025 20:17

I've got numerous shapes and sizes of Saracens rugby flags and a few from when we've swapped them with the opposition - Castres, Bordeaux, Argentina and Racing,

Cecilia4899 · 01/03/2025 20:19

A pirate flag

The wife of the king is Queen Consort.
The husband of a Queen is Prince Consort.
Because patriarchy, a King outranks a Queen.

KendricksGin · 01/03/2025 20:21

None. I hate flags.

GarlicStyle · 01/03/2025 20:23

I've got a bunch of red flags that I post on here
There are flags outside - well, paving stones
I am flagging.

So, none. I'm only here because it's such an odd question!

None.

Massiveaggressive · 01/03/2025 20:26

Quite a lot due to being on an international schools PTA - irrc there were 87 different nationalities and we tried to represent each pupils country ….

Judellie · 01/03/2025 20:27

I think there might be an Aldi carrier bag somewhere

DoNotIron · 01/03/2025 20:28

Flags are a contentious issue here in NI to say the least. We have no flags in our home. There are enough sad, tattered rags drooping from the lampposts thanks very much.

Just one a football one.

Flags? What, like flagstones? Probably about 200?

edit, sorry didn’t mean to quote you… can’t delete it anymore 🥴

That's BS! Patriarchy of this kind is woefully outdated.

I've zero interest in the Royal Family or how it all works, but I don't think of her as the Queen.

  1. The Danish one
ExtraDecluttering · 01/03/2025 20:30

Quite a few, union jack bunting bought for a Jubilee street party, a St George flag that was a world cup freebie, a few free ones from our football teams playing in cup finals, an F1 team flag, a couple of small union jacks from when we went to see the Olympic torch parade in 2012, a few small ones from other countries that one of the DCs used to collect on holidays.

jackstini · 01/03/2025 20:31

An England one DH gets out at football tournaments

Bunting for birthdays!

Redcrayons · 01/03/2025 20:32

England one we got for a football tournament years ago. We had some Union Jack ones for Jubilee but I think I threw them away.

DutchTeenyPixie · 01/03/2025 20:33

I think I have a McDonald’s one that came with a happy meal in the playroom if that counts 😂

DutchTeenyPixie · 01/03/2025 20:34

Oh and my Lego Home Alone house has a teeny tiny flag on the treehouse 😁

AgnesX · 01/03/2025 20:35

None (I have a choice too) just no need really.

Sgtmajormummy · 01/03/2025 20:37

A Union Jack, a huge pirate flag and two England football supporter flags that you jam into your car window frames.
I also had a beach towel but since Brexit I’ve been too embarrassed to use it.
Patriotic symbolism has turned into nationalistic posturing, I’m afraid.

I’m in Italy and debasement of the national flag is a crime. So no fake Italian flags in fashion like there were 10 (?) years ago when I had a floral Union Jack tote bag in pink and lilac.

Oldraver · 01/03/2025 20:41

Pride one on the back of my bedroom roller blind

Howay the Lads in DS's room

AndThereSheGoes · 01/03/2025 20:43

KendricksGin · 01/03/2025 20:21

None. I hate flags.

They are quite useful to show support to one team or another. There's no game without an opposition.

IHopeYouStepOnALegPiece · 01/03/2025 20:43

About 20 paper Danish ones, a fabric Union Jack, Aus and Danish flag on mini tabletop flagpoles

we live in Denmark, they fucking love a flag 😂
